There are several types of klymes, which differ not only in size, coloration, and habitat, but also in their magic. All of them are inseparably connected to their magic stones, which define their nature. The ice klymes (also known as snowy, mountain, or "white" klymes) are the owners of frost and ice magic. In ancient times, they thrived in snowy highlands and subarctic tundras, sitting at the top of the food chain. Nowadays, snowy klymes form the backbone of klym society integrated into the common world shared with humans and hybrids — they make up about 80% of all klymes living in cities. The reason behind such widespread socialization is that the snowy klymes were already organized into kingdoms (while other klym species remained more scattered and stayed away from industrial centers). As a result, after the peace treaty was signed, they were among the first to be integrated into the shared space with other races.
