His story in a nutshell: The Beast has lived for a long time, but it only began to remember itself from the moment a Wizard took it in as his familiar. They lived together until the Wizard passed away — but even then, the Beast kept watch over his tower for years, hoping that the old friend would one day return. When nature finally began to reclaim the tower and it fell into ruin, the Beast accepted its loss and set out on a journey without destination. It would occasionally cross paths with wandering merchants and knights, which earned it a reputation as a terrifying and unfathomable creature. One day, its heart will be melted by a Princess — one of the few who could see the beauty within its soul and was not afraid of its appearance.
