ryuji’s dojo around 10am w/ @ccdoyeon     

   ryuji crossed his arms over his chest as he watched doyeon complete the moves she taught him. he was actually impressed how quick she was learning. this was something he enjoyed to do and he found he didn’t mind teaching others. when someone suggested he should open his own dojo, he wasn’t so sure, but it was fun. 

   after she finished up, he nodded his head with a smile, “not bad. you learn faster han the group class i have.”

It wasn't an offer that didn't cost her a good price, but it was one she was more than willing to pay. This guy seemed like he cpuld handle more than just a few punches in the face if she were to ever lose it. In a sense, that was like category for how Doyeon chooses how to actually trust people. She can't handle weakness; must be why she can't stand her brother. (or so she likes to say.) But he is a card, after all, and that in itself already speaks a lot to how much more she actually likes him compared to most people. (which, she generally can't stand)

A few punches in the air and a nice spin kick is the last few moves in the latest routine she was working on; it was so easy that she wonders how anyone couldn't catch on to doing these kinds of things. She boils it down to human stupidity in the end-- something lacking in the way that they were made by whichever creator decided to make such fragile creatures.

“hey doyeon, why won’t you let me come to your fights? you’re not killing anyone, right? why can’t you be normal?” it’s an honest question. doyoung just wanted to show his support and cheer for his favorite person in the whole wide world. 

“or maybe you’re embarrassed of me? your darling brother? i, kim doyoung, am so heartbroken that you could do this to me. i thought i raised you better.” he frowned and pouted from his spot on the couch looking at her seated in their kitchen, hopefully not making more burnt, black eggs. if he ate more of that, he’d probably choke and die. not exactly how he planned on going out.

he picked up a thick book off of their coffee table and held it up for her to see. “i read this book and it said we should do some brother-sister bonding. like watching those magic moving pictures~ we can watch it on our magic box. won’t that be cool?” he got up and smiled expectantly at her, mustering the best puppy-dog look he could to entice her. 

Fate is cruel.

Of all the creatures in the world to be perpetually stuck with, it decided to stick Doyeon with....him. Ever-smiling, bright, happy-- it’s the epitome of everything that Doyeon isn’t, and she wonders what higher entity she managed to piss off in a previous life to have to deal with her so-called ‘older brother’, Kim Doyoung. 

Rage and serenity-- yin and yang-- the humans have a saying, something about opposites attracting, but Doyeon thinks it’s all a load of bull. There is nothing she’s wanted more than to be separated from serenity-- have their ties be severed so she can finally do anything she wants without him breathing down her neck. 

But fate is cruel.
