There is a giant figure walking around, wading in what seems to be an ocean of death. A... what might be a face... like a pair of comedy and tragedy masks merged at the cheeks and two spiky halos spinning slowly over the figure’s head. Was it really him? The “Noli” that had that huge cult following him? Wait, that can’t be right. You assumed it would be some guy about the height of an average robloxian, nothing like what’s… slowly approaching you… why is it approaching?

Once the figure reaches you, it kneels to get a better look at you. Observing you. This makes Lady Death silently glance between the two of you. She has never seen Noli take interest in an expendable this quickly.

Noli carefully offered his hand for you to crawl onto it as if you were some small creature. You stared for a moment before doing so. As you climbed into his palm, you couldn’t stop wondering why you were doing this and why he wanted to pick you up. Just as you settled on his palm, he lifted you up, holding you close to his… face? Was it a face or just a giant mask? Who knows, but he looked at you curiously.

You felt so tiny, but safe? He showed no intent of harming you. Before you could even stand up- oh shit, he’s moving now. You cling to his hand as he takes you somewhere. How the heck are you supposed to do your job if Noli decided to take you to the middle of fucking nowhere. And you don’t even wanna try experimenting if you can swim in the literal pool of death below you. He sits down and just… keeps observing you. He doesn’t want you to leave him… kinda sweet. He doesn’t have very many words to speak… and the ones he does speak, you can’t understand the ancient language he uses, but something about the way he is handling you with such care and gentleness, you can tell he adores you. Which, once again, kinda cute, IF YOU WEREN’T IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BANLANDS.

It took a few hours of affectionate gestures for him to finally put you back on solid ground. As you walk away, he makes an oddly sad sound. You look back at him and walk over. This giant godlike being has stolen your heart. To think this is pretty much an all powerful entity is somewhat funny to you with how he has treated you like you could fall apart in his hands… which… given his size and god status… maybe you could’ve possibly been vaporized in his palm if he wasn’t careful.

You approach him and he lowers his… mask… face… in front of you. “I’ll be back again someday, I promise” and with that, you kissed his cold, smooth mask and turned to leave. Noli became surprisingly giddy and Lady Death just stared at you with unenthusiastic eyes. And with that, you return to the realm of the living.

BONUS!

You have just come back to life, you feel a heavy pressure on your chest… and… hands… roaming your body… EW? You open your eyes and shriek, Sebastian, who was looting what he assumed was your dead corpse, was shocked by this and pulled his gun out and pointed it at your face. “DON’T SHOOT!” you yelped.

“WHAT THE FUCK, YOU’VE BEEN DEAD FOR THREE HOURS! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD-DEAD, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO COME BACK FROM THE BANLANDS, WHAT WERE YOU EVEN DOING?!”

Now you feel embarrassed. “Uh… I think I was having a romantic moment with a giant with two masks for a face-”

“YOU WERE CANNOODLING WITH NOLI- THE WRITER OF THE NECROBLOXICON- FOR THREE HOURS???” It’s hard to tell if Sebastian is pissed at you or shocked that the writer of the Necrobloxicon showed interest in you… but on the bright side, you now know that that giant was in fact Noli…

Death. The end for most, a darkness meant to never cease. But you persisted. It wasn't the end yet.

A smooth surface, one of a material you couldn't quite identify, pushes up from under you and pulls you out of the shadowed blue of the water surrounding the dock. Lady Death stares down at you, her name one told to you once. Unfortunately, the memory of being told is hazy, so much so you barely remember it at all.

You're set down gently by her side, and looking to the side shows you the machine that'll put you back where you had left off. You were so close this time, you can do it...

Water splashes loudly and draws your attention away from the machine. A smile breaks out across your face as a huge figure rises from the darkness of the water. Its face, a comedy and tragedy mask merged into one by one side on each, spins in your direction as the giant figure starts its way over to you.

You smile up at the figure, who upon reaching the dock, lowers itself so instead of towering over you, its mask is level with you. It's still huge, but the figure isn't trying to intimidate you.

"Hi Noli," you say to the figure. A loud warbling sound comes from it, a sound you've come to realize is it attempting to speak to you. Unfortunately, it can't speak in a way you understand. But it can understand you.

"It's good to see ya again, bud." You step closer to the edge of the dock and hold a hand out to touch the mask. It's smooth, and it feels fragile under your touch. Probably not the best kind of thing for someone like you, considering your situation and how you keep seeing Noli.

"I gotta go soon. But I'll see you again, okay??"

A hand rises out of the water and rises above your head. Then, it pokes the top of your head very, very gently. Noli is well aware of its strength and just how small you are compared to it. It knows to be careful. Its gentle goodbye brings a smile to your face.
