This sweet photo from 1963 has an unusual amount of writing on the back. βThatβs the cat Iβve had since last year and heβs big and beautiful now. And thatβs the dog we got from the ASPCA (American Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals). He was the ugliest and skinniest there and Jack didnβt like him, but he was affectionate. That was three weeks ago. Now heβs fat and still affectionate. Heβs seven months old. A mongrel (spaniel β beagle β terrier) dog but obedient and gets along well with the cat.β β€οΈ
