Since it's pride month, do you have any sexuality headcanons with the Stockmans?
I answered an old ask with a similar response some time ago where I did end up dropping some headcanon sexualities but to sum it up I do have a few. Starting with comics I introduce both Mirage and IDW as Aroace kings
Starting off with Mirage, I think it's pretty obvious & safe to assume he's on the Aroace side. Because of his selfish, cruel, maddening & overall cruel nature I just can't see this guy caring for ANYBODY honestly. He's just too cold-hearted. IDW is a slightly different story. While he's also an asshole he surprisingly isn't as bad as his predecessor. However the reason I consider him to be Aroace as well is because he just doesn't seem to value romance or affection at all for that matter. I mean look at how he treated his own father
Even his own creations aren't safe from his coldness
While he's capable of making acquaintances or partners he doesn't seem to have any sort of sentimental or intimate value for them it's strictly business and what both parties can do for one another. Not to mention he also doesn't celebrate Christmas or seemingly any holiday for that matter
I see it as both he's too busy & doesn't have time for that kind of thing & also as something he's just generally not interested in & he seems pretty fine with that. His career is pretty much his spouse & that's how he likes it. As for cartoons I find some of them to be in an ALMOST similar route.
With 87 I personally see him as being demisexual. Like his previous variants, relationships or romance isn't his first priority atm. BUT he is opened to the idea of love some day but it has to be on his emotional terms. Starting with his relationship with Z. They instantly clicked because of their emotional bond rooted in loneliness & revenge & while subservient to Shredder that wasn't the same case
87 Baxter is emotionally attracted to somebody & needs a bond with them in order to fully work with them. Further example of this I'm taking from @lucky-ladybugs-lovelies exit the fly
his partner would also have to share the same interest as him like science for one so that he doesn't unintentionally neglect them & the fact that he even considers that thought of the other person's feelings at all tells me emotional bonding is important to him in a relationship.
2003 is my ace king. He's almost the same as IDW, Having no time for love & preferring his work over people but unlike him he does have a soft side for some people. (Not counting the dreamwave comics cus that's not canon & it heavily mischaracterized him) His mother as we know is one but also even April before he tried to kill her. Off the bat. I HATE how everyone just read his nicknames like "dear" to "he had feelings for her" no. Do y'all NOT PAY ATTENTION TO HIS MANNERISMS?! He's a sophisticated man. His entire talk pattern is textbook "Indubitably". He's just saying that just because. It was platonic & that's how he felt about April. Something tells me it wasn't just a boss and assistant relationship. Even if it was mostly caused by hallucinations he still hesitated & ultimately saved her life in "Insane in the membrane". In conclusion he did care about April & considered her a possible friend at some point.
The same can even be said with his relationship with Agent Bishop. Complicated as it was, science was one of the things they immediately clicked on not to mention with Fast Forward they did eventually get closer
2003 is open to a partner one day. Keyword one day maybe just when life gives him a break but like 87, it'd have to be on his terms & they'd have to keep up with him knowledge wise.
2012 is a completely different story on the other hand. Another emotional bond purpose but, he's not as picky as the other variants. We've seen multiple times throughout the series that the one thing 2012 Baxter wants is validation especially from others. He craves for friends & to hang out with them whether they're scientist or not
And again. He's not picky. Also looking at his fashion and overall just how well he grooms himself it's safe to say he doesn't mind being in touch with his feminine side which I know doesn't always equal being lgbtq for most men, tho 2012 feels different in that regard.
MM/Tales is kind of the same boat as 2012. Someone who doesn't really have a preference. This is somebody who was outcasted his whole life & was willing to look past nonhuman features if it meant he had loved ones. I can safely assume the same goes for romantic partners. MM loves the being within not what's on the outside like all Pans myself included.
Last 2 I've thought about as LGBT are DC & Street fighter who are each respectfully bi & outright Gay. While I have my feelings about DC I could still see from his mannerisms especially voice he's also somebody with an open pallet. If not that then curious at best especially since he isn't sure about his independence status the same could go for orientation. Street fighter was basically a snarky dramatic gay the entire crossover & I lived for it.
Originally I wasn't going to include Stockboy but most people discover themselves early (myself included as I started realizing at 11/12) Plus I also remembered he had this thumbnail on his channel so it's safe to say he just might be discovering himself so he's on the journey.
