hhhh why does it make it feel like episode should have been in black and white but also.... rewatching asylum and finished this episode and im.. trying to figure out why this is shaking me so much but i think this season allows itself the right amount of vulgarity in order to be able to make bold and stupid power moves like this episode while leaving during its course a beautiful sediment of motifs, microtragedies and outrage that sticks with me. this episode is the angriest ahs has ever been and the show's enraged !
