idk why but the way that paragraph (the latter one) is written just pisses me off (not in a serious way, just anger all in good fun. my funger if you will) like,,

first off they're. BOTH saying that? that WHOLE ass sentence? did they rehearse or some shit???? nobody speaks whole ass sentences at once unless it's like rehearsed idk

second off, why is it worded like THAT?? idk it's just such fucking weird wording. no child speaks like that. nay, nobody EVER speaks like that. the sentence is just. what the fuuuckk don't pissmeoffff

ALSO WHY are they HOLDING HANDS. children rarely if ever do that with each other, and even less likely so if they're siblings. has this author ever interacted with a child before. has this author even BEEN a child before. AURGH

unless this is meant to be some sort of retelling of an event/story in another characters' dialogue this is uh. really cheap writing. at the very least separate the two parents' and childrens' speech and actions. and then work on making the speech sound natural.. guuuh points arrow at target.

completely misses. regardless something like that— even if that's not necessarily the best— is a hell of a lot better 🥹
