I finally finished!! My first ever shimeji. It’s imperfect and may be rough in some parts but it’s done~ I’ve always wanted a Kyung shimeji so I made one myself. Feat. his Arizona hoodie C:

How to use: Simply download the file, extract it, then click .exe file to run the shimeji, or .jar file. The latter is the one that works for me. After it successfully runs, you should be able to have a weenie Kyung desktop buddy C:

His configuration is mischievous, so it means he would multiply a lot and possibly carry your browser screens.

I heard that shimejis don’t really work on mac so I found this tutorial on how to run it there, hope it works, I havent tested it myself to know.

DARK MEGAMAN.EXE SHIMEJI RELEASE

A Shimeji is a little desktop buddy that roams your screen. The original site actually calls it “the world’s most useless mascot”

Dark Megaman is a bit more mischievous than Megaman, more likely to intrude on you work by multiplying quickly and throwing your IE windows around. He also hates it when you throw him around.

How to Use:

1. Just download and unzip the .ZIP file

2. Run Shimeji-ee.EXE or Shimeji-ee.JAR

3. Enjoy

Notes:

- Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed

- If you have a 64-bit computer and are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 the .EXE allplication file will NOT run; you have to run the .JAR or .VBS file

- This version does not work on Mac computers, sorry

- There is a bug in the program (for ALL shimejis) that cause them to enter an infinite loop when they are sitting; to fix just pick them up and the program will return to normal

AH HA! Finally finished.  My scanner and some other important art tools were broken during my flight so I couldn’t work on any new things (which I feel terribly about) so I continued on this.

OFF- Elsen Shimeji

- Note: If you encounter any bug, please let me know! I’ll fix them as soon as possible.-

( I know there are a few white annoying pixels in a couple of frames, but so far I haven’t managed to remove them! If you are willing to give me a hand with that, I’d love you forever.)

How to use: Simply download the .zip files, extract them and click on the “Shimeji-ee” application. If this doesn’t work, choose the “Shimeji-ee” jar file instead. And there you go! Little Elsen on your desktop. ( an updated version of java runtime environment is required)

This Shimejii is available in two different configurations:

Calm :  This version will only walk around, sit, and do a couple more actions. Calm shimeji will keep you company and won’t cause much trouble.

Mischievous : This version is far more active than the other! Mischievous shimeji will walk, crawl, climb walls, sit, steal your minimized browser windows, and multiply, multiply, multiply. They’re much more fun, but watch out: they’ll quickly invade your desktop.
