speaking of Bruce freaking out over Tim almost dying, shout-out to that time Victor Fries froze Robin solid in explicit revenge for Batman "making him" kill Nora and Bruce desperately built an elaborate machine to keep Tim alive and eventually defrost him:

Newscast: The attacks began last night. Accompanied by a small gang, Freeze simply started walking the streets, firing at whomever he pleased with his deadly cold gun. Unconfirmed reports that an early encounter with the Batman ended in tragedy for the vigilante... Alfred: Master Bruce? Isn't there something you can do? Bruce: Alfred... I'm aware of the situation.

Freeze: Ah, the Batman--I've heard of you. This is a personal vendetta. It is not your concern. Batman: It is now. Freeze: Since you seek to defend my enemy, you shall share his fate. Batman: Stop--I can get help for you and your wife. Freeze: More lies. We won't listen to them anymore. (accidentally shoots the frozen Nora) NO! NORA! Freeze: Oh, Nora. What have I done? I-I never meant to... Half-Frozen Gangster: Now! While he's out of it! Take him down n-- (Freeze shoots and fully encases him in ice) Nnnggh...! Freeze: You did this! You killed her...BATMAN!

Freeze shoots at Batman who has the audacity to dodge so of course this is all Batman's fault 🙄

(Batman shoves an electrified cable at Freeze and fries him) Freeze: YYAGGH! (falls over) Freeze: I swear...swear on my wife's body, Batman... I will find whatever you treasure most...and destroy it in front of your eyes...

Robin: Huh?! The rope! (a freeze-ray blast severs Robin's line and he falls) Batman: Robin! (a freeze-ray blast strikes Robin and encases him in ice) Freeze: Who was he, Batman? Your brother? Robin: Aghhh...! Freeze: Or son, perhaps? Someone close to you at any rate, and now he is dead. Cut down in cold blood just like you murdered my Nora. I have given you a small taste of agony, Batman. The feast is yet to come.

Bruce manages to get Tim home and preserve him, then proceeds to hunt Freeze down, furiously tear his way through all the Arctic predator animals and other obstacles Freeze throws at him, and puts him the fuck down 😌

Freeze narration: Later I was told he analyzed my weapon to create a defrosting process. (Tim in his tattered Robin costume is shown floating in a tank full of fluid, oxygen mask covering his face as he defrosts) Freeze narration: He was able to restore a number of my victims...and, I presume, his partner as well. (Tim is decanted from the tank and Batman pulls him out, both Bruce and Alfred smiling in relief)
