Anyway, I’m an OC artist who’s mostly interested in character designs and story writing; although, I AM a pretty amateurish writer, so if I ever post some of that, please don’t expect anything exceptional… BUT HEY, I am better with characters and that’s mainly what I like!!

I've been thinking of Krusie lately and I've finally realized that it's not that I don't like them in a romantic context, it's just that I don't like them in a stereotypical romance, yknow?
I just don't see Susie and Kris calling each other "partner" and "girlfriend" because I feel like they'd still be calling each other "friend" or "buddy" even at their fucking wedding. And I definitely don't think they'd use pet names. No reason for that when Susie is already slinging around "dumbass" all the time. Like, that IS the pet name
Hell, I couldn't really imagine the two mouth kissing. The closest they'd probably get to that is trying to spit drinks into each others mouths like they're water fountains. If you mention it, Susie would go like "ew, Kris cooties" and then the two would giggle about it
I feel like people are way too quick to shoehorn in conventional romance without realizing that, for Kris and Susie, punching each other in the arm or getting a noogie or calling the other a dumbass would BE the romance, and that dynamic in a relationship is just as valid as any other.
Like, there's a reason they beat each other with the foam hammers in that one carnival game instead of doing it as intended, it's because their relationship doesn't have to fit into any sort of label or convention. Kris and Susie don't have to exist in any way that makes sense to anyone but themselves.
