every day is destiel day. to me.

huge evidence that supernatural exists external to the constraints of the physical writing and production of a television show, that a truer version of itself exists in a place we cannot see, is that in the ghosthunters episode dean and sam curse. we know they curse “in reality” while in the actual (mediated) show they use curse adjacents friggin and crap. so we know what is “canon” that they do not curse in canon, while knowing they Are Cursing beneath that. there are things the show does not show cannot show and shows altered by what is and isnt “allowed”

if dean said "i want you" cas would have heard "like an object." if dean said "i love you" cas would have heard "like a brother." so dean says "i need you" and he means "i need you like i need air." and we know this because dean has been trained to never need anything from anyone. he isn't supposed to need anyone. but cas does not know this and instead he hears "i need you like i need a gun."

one thing that i still find incredibly hilarious about supernatural was the whole “we can’t talk about what we did in purgatory” thing because like what?? i know you’re not talking about killing monsters that’s your literal fucking day job so what was it?? the gay love triangle you were in with an angel and a vampire??
