Of course you'll want to clamp it tight for the glue up, but no wrestling with taped together pieces! So I drilled through from the outside to do dowels and plugged them with custom walnut plugs. All in all I'm happy with how it came out, but good lawd it gave me fits. Not to mention that butcher job I did when flush cutting 🤦‍♂️. Thankfully they make this thing called sandpaper. I'm doing a waterfall miter around the edges of the plywood and with the top being 42" I couldn't do my normal tape-the-edges-and-fold routine. I made two cuts on each piece to make space for a 1/4" spline and it worked like a charm. Glue up was a bit tense, but this worked out better than expected!
