When I first started my journey to becoming a full-time artist, I was so terrified that I would fail and lose everything. There were times in the beginning where I thought to myself “You’re an idiot. You just left a job where you made great money and you had stability to move to another state and start over.” I had been saving for about 3 years, but still didn’t feel prepared enough. Finally, I started to realized that I was never going to feel ready so I just had to do it. I can’t even imagine what my life would be like now if I hadn’t taken that leap 2.5 years ago. It was honestly the best decision I have ever made! So the moral of the story is = go with your gut and do what you love. You only get one life and you don’t want to have regrets.
