Nioh 2 low stance doodle

The claws/(fists) have got to be one of my favorite weapons in nioh 2. I really like the pose variety in the High, Med, and Low idle stance. I know all three are somewhat hybrids of a lot of martial arts, but i believe (and correct me if im wrong) that High is Bajiquan, Med is Si-Liu Bu (a Wushu stance), and Low is Praying Mantis (a style of Kung fu) anyway that's enough nerding out. the doodle is just an attempt of caru in the low mantis style. 

Calico Hammer

A sketch I did earlier this month to help de-rust. Been playing a lot of Nioh2 and the weapon variety + the stance poses had me wanting to draw something like that with Caru. The hammer is based off of a friend's calico-sona. (We're both Soul Eater nerds too)

A friend of mine was doing a wheel of forms for their oc, and i decided to do something similar. This time it landed on yamper, and Caru is very distressed about it.

a few weeks ago, I practiced a different body type and proportions for Caru. Trying to go for more physically developed but not too anthro or Lucario looking y'know? i like what ive been able to make so far! now i just gotta practice..
