skoda rapid review
Regular car reviews five YEARS in the past, SKODA speedy was once born and actually at the establishing of his existence it was once a good-looking automobile that managed to show his heads. Over time their loved ones individuals such because the Yeti, ultimate and Octavia acquired predominant updates, but the rapid remained ordinarily the same. It felt old and seemed out of place between the Spanking new Skoda household. The Skoda engineers commonly concept of communicating the speedily deserved modern day remedy. The Skoda fast has been reworked and now looks very spectacular within the Skoda lineup in India. Was a half decade ready really worth it? We drove to Dehradun to find out how hip this modern skoda is. On the starting, the speedy has continually been one of the vital wanted Skoda automobiles in India mostly considering that it was once the entry into the manufacturer after the sudden farewell of the cute Fabia. The swanky watching exterior of the brand new Skoda Rapids is the freshest of the Czech automobile makers and sincere, the brand new design makes the fast more like its older siblings. The headlamp unit is new with LED DRL and offers the auto an extraordinarily European look.
Car news the brand new bumper, also adds a lot of trendy personality to the speedy fascia. It is the new wide lattice, which, nevertheless, brings collectively the complete family look. We additionally recognize the truth that the minimal rear end of the brand new speedy is now consistent with the rest of the sharp perspective design. The whole design exudes maturity, elegance and refinement and is particularly first-class to look. The inner architecture of the brand new fast can also be in harmony with the leisure of the loved ones. Simplicity is the secret on the within, some Skoda are identified for. Your signature No-Nonsense-contact is clearly in the cabin. The new dashboard has the entire crucial touches, together with a brand new 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment approach with MirrorLink connectivity yes, a mirror connection that enables you to pair your smartphone with the method and it actually reflects your mobilephone on the show. Apart from this, the new fast comes with a sort of other creature comforts and elements which are definite to draw a whole host of tech-savvy customers. The speedy stays the identical as the cab; nevertheless, the leatherette seat covers are new and so they feel first class. Also the steerage wheel is new, although the instrument console stays the identical. Area-sensible, rapid is one of the pleasant automobiles in its section thanks to a lot of area. First-class and passability were not ever an drawback for the Czech car manufacturers, and the fast is excellent in phrases of inside great. Yet it's not simply the aesthetics that gave speedy a new identification. It's the stuff under the hood, which has additionally been tweaked. The x.5-liter in-line four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine related to a seven-speed dual-grasp transmission is the equal unit; but that's the tip the place the engineers had been concerned. Previous the equal x.5 TDI engine used to produce one zero five hp and 250 Nm of torque, however the tweaked one churns no PS and 250 Nm of torque, which is transmitted to the entrance wheels through the pleasant seven-velocity DSG. Now the shock on the power would no longer be giant, nevertheless it works in terms of improving the automobile's fuel effectivity and drivability. In terms of feeling, the engine does not think much specific than earlier than, due to the fact that there may be nonetheless light engine chatter that filter by way of the cabin; The refinement and smoothness phases have not fairly increased, however they're nonetheless rather just right. Nevertheless, the efficiency and the torque supply are relatively sorted.
Regular Cars The 250 Nm of torque are to be had from 1,500 rpm as much as 2,500 rpm and max energy of 4,000 rpm. Despite the fact that there's a little bit of turbocharger below 1,500 rpm, which is typical, it does now not quite urge you to speed up. The delivery can be linear and no longer abrupt, and as quickly as you attain 1500 rpm, the speedy moves in a much civilized way. Acceleration is gentle and you in no way ought to work your correct foot tough to find the correct quantity of enter. In phrases of driveability, I do not particularly suppose the extra five horses are working their magic, although just a real experiment on the road will show the tiny variations between the previous car and this. Overall, the driveability was once extremely good, most commonly considering the seven-velocity DSG wonders. This transmission from the VW crew is a technical miracle and provides a lot more refinement to the rapid. It shifts gently, the force transmission is seamless and the downward layers are also really speedy. It makes using the fast at low speeds a topic of convenience. Speakme of efficiency, i didn't relatively push the rapid difficult as we have been within the mountains. On the few stretches of the straight open street I obtained, I managed to nail the throttle and determine the acceleration, and i have to mention that the rapid used to be relatively speedy. Once we drove from Dehradun to Mussoorie, the queen of the mountains, fast felt no exclusive when coping with the prior automobile, principally when you consider that the suspension used to be precisely the equal as before. The MacPherson strut at the front and the multi-link setup on the rear are on the softer aspect of matters, making the speedy a high-quality journey that was once a Skoda manufacturer characteristic from the days of the first Octavia. Nonetheless, the setup isn't like sponge; It has the right quantity of softness that allows for fast to absorb shocks and curls simply, whilst keeping the whole lot in line when sudden directional changes are made. In the hills, direction alterations are all. I was joyful the rapid saved his line like a good-trained puppy. The steerage reacted in a very best manner with lots of suggestions, which used to be safe. There was somewhat of body-roll, but with a delicate setup, one will get obvious body-roll. Nevertheless, it never made me apprehensive.
The brakes are additionally the same as before and they're excellent with considerable chunk and think. Safeguard-wise, fast used to be on no account a boring auto. Actually, the at ease feeling of the speedy is matched only by yet another VW car, the Vento, given that no different competitor in the phase even comes just about giving its occupants one of these comfy feeling. And the rationale for that is the good-developed structure of rapid. The dual airbags, the ABS, the digital balance manipulate and the hill-hold manage (within the two prime variations) are also traits that make the rapid a well-prepared automobile. Total, at Rs 12.55 lakh (ex-Pune) the fully loaded sort AT variant used to be beautiful just right. The brand new styling is a welcome trade, which is also the most important trade within the new Skoda rapid. Gear record has also been updated and the cabin now feels way more sophisticated and extra today's than earlier than. Safety can be one of the high-quality within the phase and overall construct fine is almost always some of the exceptional within the segment. Is it the hippest of all? Good, for me it's obviously probably the most fashionable Skoda in the marketplace, which now looks at the center section. Moreover, there are a quantity of advantages that you'll get while you buy a speedy just like the four 12 months guarantee, four year protection bundle and also four year road help. Skoda are as a rule the only automotive producers on this phase to present such after-earnings facets. So, for the reason that the whole lot, i might say that the fast presents way more than before and now not just appears good. Would I suggest it? Well, let's look ahead to a radical scan trip to discover.

Hyundai tucson review
Regular Car Reviews Hyundai convey the Tucson name back to India in the type of its trendy 1/3 new release international avatar. Will it turn out to be the missing ingredient that brings new lifestyles to the center crossover phase? We drove it to Chandigarh. The new Hyundai Tucson is right away perceived as one of the most present day cars in these days.
TUCSON, ARIZONA, are not able to be a metropolis known in India, besides for some followers of a targeted wrestling franchise that went from city to city round the U.S. Of A, or for a historical past buff that considers the Spanish link in the El Presidio San Agustin del Tucson, a fortress relationship back to 1775. However, many are a non-Millennium accustomed to a quite pre-time compact SUV with the same identify that Hyundai introduced in over two years. It was the primary-new release mannequin, and it also had a four-cylinder rapid diesel engine, but with HZ PS and 245 Nm. Skipping a iteration used to be possibly an fascinating transfer. Look at what now we have now. With a Fluidic 2.O formed and LED-treated exterior, the brand new Tucson (pronounced 'zu-sawn') is immediately perceived as probably the most trendy automobiles at present.
Of direction, we had the top model CRDi AT GLS turbo diesel mannequin ticked with each bell, whistle and a little bit of protection kit in order that it sparkled and shone within the late afternoon solar as a Victoria's Secret mannequin can be within the limelight. The "double barrel" LED headlights lend him a piercing glare, while the Santa Fe-Ish cricket makes it appear more targeted and top rate; the way it should be. This is without doubt no additional-tremendous creta; instead, it is a Santa Fe one measurement smaller. The shoulder line and rear quarter panel design proceed this notion. The LED taillight cluster appears sharp and rings a bell in my memory of the Elite Ho and Elantra, which i like for their Alfa points, except right here it has 5 "eyes" as an alternative of three, accompanied by a tender light signature. The interior is usual Hyundai and feels well organized and beautifully laid out. However, the feeling is eerily acquainted in case you have by accident spent time with new generation Hyundai cars. The keybond, the fabric on the dashboard, the steering wheel, the buttons and other controls are undoubtedly taken from the same ingredients container. Not too much of a nasty thing. Familiarity and a contact of alleviation zone usually are not continuously dangerous. Helps you get used to the auto faster. The Tucson is a 5-seater and as a result has fantastically formed seats.
Regular Cars
Hyundai tucson person experiences whilst the driver has a ten-fold steplessly adjustable seat, the passenger makes a handbook 4-approach adjuster: more world preferences are adopted as a method of standardization and fee saving. Of direction, there's nothing fallacious with that. Makes matters less difficult, too. On the again you've a lying 2nd row which will also be cut up 6o: 4o; A quality addition indeed. There is an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation procedure and Arkamys 'Sound temper' with a alternative of connection choices: USB, Aux, Bluetooth, even SD card. And with all variants. Hyundai have evidently targeting the inner. Comfort and candies are all there, whatever the choice you decide on. However, some technological bits are limited to the GL and GLS linings. The GL will get an wise key to begin matters up, and an electric parking brake that replaces the ancient handbrake. You don't have to love NYC to do that within the guide models. It is historic tuition. You also get the io-manner adjustable seat, risers, entrance park sensors, a retrospective minor with a digital compass something we noticed on the first Volvo XC90 interesting sufficient side and curtain airbags, leather-based upholstery, rear ventilation slots with a cluster ionizer and i8 Inch diamond-reduce gentle alloy rims with 225/fifty five Rr8 rubber. The manual transmission items handle 2,25 / 60 Ri7s on R7-inch alloys. Proper, while the Tucson may look like a lounge, it moves. So let us handle it. We drove the highest computerized diesel. The engine is a new R-series 2.0 liter fashioned-rail direct injection engine with a strong 185 hp and a powerful four hundred Nm of torque. Hyundai had been completely satisfied to announce a vigor-to-weight ratio of uz PS / ton. What's spectacular is that they've lead 92.7 hp / liter and zoo Nm / liter on a level with some prime-notch European presents.
Hyundai Tucson news The Tucson may also be vaguely considered a Elantra on stilts with a physique job. The drivetrain, as a minimum the gas provided right here, is best available in just a few world markets. The diesel is new, yes, but the transmission remains to be the six-velocity automatic, at the same time within the UK, this i85-PS is coupled to a present day seven-speed twin take hold of with all-wheel drive. No, we do not get it. Nevertheless, this is not something to sulk. The diesel is a strong auto, and we've got figured it out. The CRDi Tucson can dash in a straight line and effectively overtake. Directional changes are dealt with without problems, and the Tucson feels soothing when a sudden monitor swap is required. The brakes are also outstanding. Of course all of the ABS elements will get with EBD, sure, however the GLS gets brake aid, stability manipulate and car stability administration, not to mention hill support as good as downhill support. Do you pick the GL, at least now not? Sorry, manual buyers, you are going to get none of it. We went to the hills of Chandigarh and to Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. The Tucson is resistant and comfy and behaves very well, at least except a long sweep is reached. There may be physique roll after which, for those who think it is amassed, it rolls somewhat more. I determined this really annoying. The pillow help on the entrance seats also falls quick. Happily, the tire manage and the strut on the entrance and multi-link rear axles set the wheels tightly and take in the shocks very well. Frankly, it is a enormous car. You will have to no longer exhibit it corners north of 8o km / h. On the straights it's quite gorgeous accurately. I'll keep additional judgment unless a appropriate road test on acquainted asphalt takes place. With a 4x4 option and a ground clearance of 172mm, the Tucson won't attack any trails, but it does now not imply he can not manage the difficult matters.
Hyundai tucson informations We found a dirt road and it took on the grounds without scratching or contact. The front and rear parking sensors are a significant support, as are the runners and the rounded overhangs. I can't aid questioning if there shall be an all-wheel drive variant within the next 12 months, of course, the demand for one. For now, the Tucson will most likely fight the top-finish Mahindra XUV5oo and Skoda Yeti, amongst others. The GLS diesel requires a lot of money and pushes it into the realm of a lot bigger competition. Hyundai are mindful of this, however they also be aware of they're on the street, and the Creta has cemented their success within the crossover SUV plane. The Tucson will serve good to meet those who want a good bigger, better geared up, but extra cutting-edge, butch and attractive crossover. It is taken the city runabout car recipe, including a sprint of Korean liquid aptitude. Has it been competitive? Will it be a hit? Yes, and we wait. It's back there, and it's again with a revenge. And 185 horses.

Mercedes-Benz X-Class Pickup Review
Regular Car Reviews
I proposal i'd observed all this; From vigour-pushed designs to developed ideas, bullet-speedy tremendous-automobiles, the genuine expertise of which should certainly not be understood, wooden body standards ... Call it, but I certainly not concept i would to see the Mercedes star on the truck Mercedes-Benz X-category Pickup.
Think that you just appear to me as bizarre because it appears, Mercedes recently has an concept of brief-to-be-began decide upon-usathat marks their manufacturers. This implies Mercedes will now have a presence in any respect stages of the auto sector. The vehicles fall out of the X class when the recommendations title is something to go. The inspiration is known as "Mercedes-Benz notion X-category". For the duration of the inspiration relieve with a operate in Stockholm, the automobile brand printed two varieties. Every mannequin is equipped with 5 seats. 1 design could be a way of life-centered known as "stylish Explorer" from the automobile company, even though the others is usually a "powerful adventurer" with exceptional off-road credentials together with a winch, fender flares along with a more force degree. 1 mannequin is easy, even as the opposite is in order that hard on account that they arrive.
Car Reviews
The upper discontinue of the 2 forms is one of a kind. Even though they're both adding the automobile company's two-Louvre grid, which is adopted by way of Mercedes SUVs, the "fashionable explorer" has a single pub grille because the "robust adventurer" has two cafes. The vans receive underfloor panels for safety. Furthermore, they operate wheel arch extensions, chiefly in the strong adventurer, to focal point on its off-freeway characteristics. The robust adventurer additionally aspects an electric powered winch in the entrance, even as the rear finish facets a traction. It also comes with a 1.9M excessive posture, flared arches additionally to a giant monitor. It rides on 22-inch mild-alloy tires in the anthracite finish off.The again from the forms characteristic of a brought strip along with a chrome trim. Moreover, the automobile manufacturer used common rear lights collectively in a number of cars to make the variant a dosage of your ordinary truck traits. I understand the product will be created alongside the Nissan Navara and Renault Alaskan as Nissan and Renault are seriously lively in growing the Mercedes trucks. In reality, the variation lends its plan out of your Navara, a identical platform used on the Renault Alaskan. The cabin facets the ordinary Mercedes-cabin cure process offered nubuck leather dark brown tinted and nappa leather-situated. In addition, it can be knowledge open up-pore smoked okaytimber paneling and a elegant aluminum conclude. The larger number of the aggressive variation involves a black nappa leather covers and carbon dioxide-trimmed black floor areas. The trucks even include tablet-type monitors together with a rotary dial that includes a touchpad. Additionally, the cabin will furnish nearly all of the equipment in the present C-type and V-class items. In just a few buying and selling markets, the Pickups are delivered in conjunction with the auto SIM Greeting Card, which Mercedes-Benz offers related options. As for defense, expect the models to be safely all set, as Mercedes is by no means disappointed with this sector. The pickup vehicles will function exclusive present driver help methods that are held through radar, ultrasound and digital cameras. As a result depend on methods including blind-position monitoring, radar cruise control, ahead accident pre-warning, a again-finish viewpoint digital digital camera and rear parking detectors to be offered as regular features.
Mercedes-Benz X-classification Pickup engine efficiency Mercedes has now not yet printed the specific facets of the energy trains of the concept. Nevertheless, two mills are possible. For lowered panels, a 2.Three L, double turbocharged mill can be used by using Renault. That is in reality the same engine within the Nissan Navara. Nonetheless, the highest-variant types will likely be powered by way of a third L, V-6 rapid diesel. This engine is expected to offer a towability of 3.5 tons and a payload of greater than 1.1 plentiful. The V-6 will absolutely be linked to the 4Matic AWD process. Mercedes-Benz X-type Pickup rate, appearance, competitors in keeping with the credible resources, the vehicles are crushed Mercedes car dealers later in the 12 months than 2018 designs. The pickups are expected to be offered in European nations, South the usa, South Africa and Sydney. However, as acknowledged above, there are simply no present packages to the types on the North American market. The auto maker is nonetheless to gift timelines for a U.S. Product.
Make it listed here for all of the most contemporary know-how on this new truck from Mercedes.

Hyundai Elite i20 Review
TO ME, COFFEE IS A LIFE that brings elixir. I find it extremely hard to work every day without a hot cup of my favorite drink, first thing in the morning. So imagine my joy when I found out that I would drive about 250 km from Bengaluru to Chikmagalur. Finally, Chikmagalur is the Coffee Center of India, one of the two major coffee cultivation districts in the country along with Kodagu (Coorg). As I will find later, the connection of Chikmagalur with coffee deeper. We started at the top of the morning in our Hyundai Elite i20 at Bengaluru famous Vidhana Soudha. This majestic building is not only an architectural wonder, but also Karnataka's seat of state legislation. A fitting place to start this road trip then. From here, it was from Bengaluru and on the NH 75. This four-lantern is an explosion drive, and I quickly worked through the elite six-speed gearbox until I comfy cruise at three-digit speeds. In an instant we had arrived in Hassan. Here we took a little change to Shettihalli, after we had heard of the exotic, abandoned Shettihalli Rosary Church there. The 20-kilometer turn took us through a small village road, which was partially broken and full of waves. The sleek suspension of the elite caused the bad roads to cause no distress, and soon enough we were faced with a sight that was worth the almost nonexistent streets. Sitting on the banks of the Gorur Hemavathi dam, this is an old shell of a once splendid gothic church. The story is that the Shettihalli Rosary Church was built by French missionaries in 186o, and fell into nothingness a century later. It is absolutely fascinating, and, sitting on the shore of the reservoir just adds the beauty and mysticism of everything. The Shettihalli Church is not the only historical relic with religious roots on the way from Bengaluru to Chikmagalur. Once you are back on the highway and in the hills towards Chikmagalur, Belur and Halebidu can be found quite a bit on the way. The original capital of the Hoysala empire, which covers the region from loth to lit. Century, the most famous remainder of this rule is the Temple of Belur in Chennakeshava. Hoysala King Vishnuvardhana commissioned the construction of this temple in 1117 to celebrate military success under his rule. About 6 miles away is Halebidu, which took over as the capital of the Hoysala empire in the izth and t3th century. Vishnuvardhana also built and founded this city, and its primary attraction is the Hoysaleswara Temple, which was built in the izth century. Both temples are elaborately carved from soapstone and carry beautiful figures along the exterior walls of the temple. Inside the temple, also somewhat as menial as the braces for the temple pillars have been carefully shaped, and are definitely worth a visit for the sheer talents and creative nous shown in their construction. Truly, both temples are lost in their art and their historical and cultural significance. Soon the temples set out again, and we entered Chikmagalur. First we visited the coffee museum. The warm and friendly staff led us through the history of coffee in India, and here I realized how intrinsically this city is connected with coffee. It turns out that the entire coffee movement started here in Chikmagalur thanks to a Sufi saint named Baba Budan. Coffee was practically unknown in India in the 19th century and was exported eastwards from the Middle East in roasted form, so that the region could maintain its monopoly on the coffee trade. The legend says that during his pilgrimage to Mecca, Budan discovered the miracles of coffee and smuggled him on his way back from the pilgrimage to seven raw coffee beans in his walking stick. He planted the beans in the Chandragiri hills in Chikmagalur on his return to India, beginning with India's triumph with coffee.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Review
Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 d 4MATIC Review
TANY POINT IN TIME IT WOULD be superfluous to suggest that India is a huge country. This information is obvious. There is also a huge coastal line that starts at the small beach town of Lakhpat in Gujarat on the banks of the Arabian Sea and merges south with the Indian Ocean with the Indian Indian Ocean in Kanyakumari and then northwards over the stormy waters of the Bay of Bengal. The truth said, we are talking about an entire coast of more than 7,500 km! Daunting though this number sounds, in reality, it's more of an invitation than any advertising from a tourism board around the country. For any amateur traveler who even has a fraction of the hustle or bustle of Hiuen Tsang or Al Beruni, this number means endless options to make an open invitation if you want, from little explored places along the coast. Of course we gave our temptation and accepted this open invitation and decided to go on an epic journey of exploration. Obviously, our route would embrace the coast, but this also posed a challenge of the kind. After a late but boundless monsoon, oursRoute would see us traverse pothole-ridden roads and broken bridges far from the glaring asphalt of our national highways. So what we needed was a stable yet comfortable SUV with a high ground clearance and a powerful engine to pull us out of sticky situations. With the newly introduced Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 d 4MATIC, we have found the answer to our challenge. With 170 PS and 400 Nm on the taps of its 143-cc four-cylinder German heart, which is transmitted to the wheels via a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, the GLC engine has more than enough grunt for everything That the terrain could throw at us. Meanwhile, its high ground clearance has paid all the concerns that we might have broken roads or even no roads.
Coastal Test Drive with the Mercedes-Benz GLC
The only place where there seemed to be a disproportion in expectations was on the third count. Where we had acted for comfort, we were offered luxury on a plate! Life could not be better if we left our office in Pune and went to the distant shores of Lakhpat, a small port town with an ancient fortress near the Indo-Pakistani border in Gujarat. If you are wondering this is the very Lakhpat that became famous in the Amitabh Bachchan Starrer Agneepath '. This is where our adventure begins. After a quick overnight in Bhuj (famous for a devastating earthquake in 2001) we drove straight to Lakhpat. From there we drove to Narayan Sarovar. While Lakhpat is known for its pristine beach along the Kori Creek and a fortress from the 18th century, Narayan Sarovar claims to fame back into ancient times. The legend states that Alexander the Great once came to the shores of this great lake, but then in AD moo the lake ceased to exist when the river Indus moved course. The present lake was rebuilt thanks to an earthquake in 1819. With so much to gallop, we drove with a wide-open miracle only to be brought to a standstill by a massive snake line of vehicles. Studies showed, despite linguistic difficulties, that the only two-lane road that led to Lakhpat and Narayan Sarovar had been washed away in a flood. It would take a day or two to repair that. Oh, left without a choice, we turned and went for Mandvi instead, the third would be on our Reiseroute. Mandvi is located at the mouth of the River Rukmavati, where the river flows into the Gulf of Kutch.Once a famous port, Mandvi was also the summer retreat for the Maharao (former king) of Cutch State. Today the magnificent palace, just a stone's throw from the beach, is a tourist attraction with a heritage tourist site right next to it. Mandvi is also an important hub for the use of wind energy. In fact, the city's main beach is known as a wind farm beach. Although Mandvi and the holy city of Dwarka are virtually opposite each other, the lack of a ferry across the Gulf of Kutch means a detour of 450 km. The streets are usually narrow, completely dived in places and then completely broken in others. Fortunately, with the GLC as our choice of vehicle, nothing counted. The entrance to the coastal town of Dwarka takes its breath. The Tang of salt in the air, the building high dunes giving way Windmills makes for a stunning landscape. The light fog of a new shower added only Dwarka's mysticism. In the epic Mahabharata, Dwarka is described as a splendid city built on rocks struck by a tumultuous sea. Not much seems to have changed when we were standing on the edge of a bathing-place near the Dwarkadheesh temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Dwarka to Porbandar, our nearest port, is a short mg km. The distance should have been covered in the double fast time, but a flock of flamingo fish in the flood water about Io km before the actual city where the father of the nation was born meant an unexpected but adequately excited box stop. Porbandar itself proved to be a busy little town with a clogged and dirty coastal line, courtesy of the old port and the slums that run along the beach. However, Kirti Mandir, the very building in which Bapu was born, is still a picture of tranquility.

Toyota Innova Crysta Review
We got the AT-variant of Toyota Innova Crysta for a nice long drive. A close twin of manual variant, which we have reviewed, the major changes include a more powerful engine and an automatic transmission.
I do not need to get into a 200-WORD introduction as the Toyota Innova Crysta is incredibly popular in India. If you have ever visited the city or on a highway, or booked an intercity cabin, or at an event where a politician drove or even visited a remote village, you are probably aware of what I am. It has never been an automatic transmission before, though, has it? Rhetorical question because it certainly is not, but that's all in the past. The new, first-class Innova Crysta does it, and we drove. However, before we come to the succulent center of this self 'box and to a more powerful engine, we need to peel back the covers. Let us begin with the utmost: the appearance.
Toyota Innova Crysta Test The Crysta AT is almost identical to its manual variant family: large, bouffant and with SUV cues on what is a traditional MPV. In fact, there is not even an "AT" or "auto" badge that gives away the modified transmission. Instead, the only difference is the "2.8" at the back to beat you off that something is different; The manual has a 2.4-liter engine. Overall, the car is sharp and a little medium weight in this new avatar. It is also bold and prominent, with the LED projector wraparounds and mammoth trapeze grilles arrested your attention immediately, while the L-shaped rear lights design and small spoilers are the highlights on the back. The handbook and car twins are as monocyte on the inside as they appear from the outside. Everything from the Top Man Handbook is replicated here, including the suede upholstery, chic wood panels, an airplane-like folding chute and enough cup holders to feed the entire ensemble from 'The Expendables'. The interior is exceptionally spacious, the seats are quite comfortable (in all three rows) and stumble with minimal shrub. The Pilo seats in the second row are leaning forward and backwards, and you can even use a handy lever near the passenger seat headrest to adjust its position for leg space when you sit in the second row with no one occupying this Seat.
Boot space, is also no problem, and the above tumbler capability is handy when you expand it further. The plastic quality is decent and overall I was very pleased to spend time in the cabin of Toyota Innova Crysta. In addition, functions such as "PWR" and "ECO" are controlled, a touch-screen infotainment with navigation, an easy-to-read and brightly lit combination instrument with TFT center and controllable controls. The bright differences are the absence of a live third pedal, the manual shift lever for a selector lever and a fleshier eardrum that testifies to its larger power maker. The latter is because the Crysta AT receives a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine with 174 hp and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The 'box is a regular ol' torque converter with an electronically controlled automatic transmission, which basically shows the intuition and adapts the shifting time to driving styles.
Toyota Innova Crysta AT collects a head of steam at a decent rate despite its size, as illustrated by its o to Too km / h time of 11.78 seconds. It is also able to sustain the impulse to some intoxicating speeds when unleashed on the highway and also feels well planted in the top trains of its upper stroke. Motor noise is a bit of a problem, and could have done with a little more attention. The shifts are on point, too, and the car box does its job well so you can get smooth power on the highway and within the city. The ride quality is also pleasant, easy on the softer side and ensures comfort even on less than perfect roads. The good ground clearance of the car means that you do not need to worry, even if you drive through drilled B-roads. Cornering is not the Innova Forte, that is, you will not be comfortable walking around sharp curves that are in a lot of speed, but you really want to throw the Innova into a corner with your woman sitting next to you, your parents in the second line , And your children in the third? I know I certainly do not. Taking turns is nice and smooth rather than aggressive, where the Crysta feels most comfortable.

Toyota C-HR Concept Review
Toyota C-HR Concept Test and Comment
The Toyota C-HR concept, which stands for Coupe High Rider, combines a coupe like upper body with the superstructure of an SUV. First unveiled at the Paris Motor Show 2014, Toyota have followed with Gusto and unveiled the standard model at the 2016 Los Angeles Motor Show. The C-HR styling is based on what Toyota calls "Sensual Speed-Cross". It features a diamond architecture design with wheel arches prominent at all four corners, emphasizing strength and stiffness. The front of the C-HR represents a development of the design identity of Toyota: the upper grille flows from the Toyota badge into the wing extremities of the headlight clusters and winds completely around the front corners of the vehicle. Toyota maintain the shoulder axis, which runs forward and back, emphasizing the fast-looking, lifting feeling of the thin body. The C-HR Coupe-like styling is further reinforced by disguised rear door handles integrated into the C-pillar. The elaborate wheel arches give the new C-HR a wide and powerful posture additional markings in theDesign department.
Toyota C-HR Concept ReviewInside, the C-HR is equipped with an 8 inch touchscreen display with a redesigned and improved HMI (Human Machine Interface) with Toyota Multimedia '16 navigation platform and enhanced connected services that are easily aligned to the driver. The new C-HR will be available with a variety of engine options ranging from a 1.2-liter turbo gasoline engine that delivers 116 hp and 185 Nm of torque and can be combined with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT ). CVT versions are available with front or all-wheel drive. The new C-HR also features a new hybrid optics with Toyota's latest 1.8-liter Atkinson cycle petrol engine, which is also featured in the new Prius. The maximum output is 98 hp at 5,200 rpm and 142 Nm at 3,600 rpm. Toyota has increased the crossover segment with the new C-HR. Expect it to appear in the showrooms by 2017. The price has not yet been announced. We see great potential for the C-HR in India and hope to see it here soon, perhaps with an additional option of a diesel engine too.
Audi A6 Review
Audi A6 Test
LAST MONTH DURING THE Diwali Week, I decided to take a break and go south for the long weekend. Although I drive and drive cars day and day I like to drive to the destination rather than fly and then driven into a stinking taxi by someone who can not drive to save his own life. But there is a condition for my driving: Audi A6 must be very good. Like most of the time the press department at Audi came to my rescue and lent me an Audi A6 for the ride. Whenever I make a long trip, I leave the house very early to avoid the local traffic, which is met until Kolhapur. After setting the alarm for 2 o'clock it was exactly 3.00 clock when we drove out the gate. Driving in the dark is no problem thanks to the brilliant matrix headlights of the A6. The state of the road to Satara leaves much to be desired, as there are a number of diversions. I had to take it easy, but I managed to get it to Kolhapur in less than three hours. Once you enter Karnataka, the road becomes much better and the quantum of traffic drops. This is where the A6 comes into its own as it stretches its legs and begins to cruise between 160 and 180 km / h with the speedometer read between 2,000 and 2,300 rpm in seventh gear. The A6 is such a voracious mile-muncher that before I realized that we were on the Hubli bypass at 7.15. The car continued driving miles after kilometers and the next thing I knew was that the navigation system asked me to leave the highway at Sira and head towards Mysuru. Instead, I ignored the navigation and went to Bengaluru. Later I realized that it was a mistake. The road from Sira to Mysuru is a one-lane, but 8o km shorter than the one I had taken. The ride was good until I got off the lovely road as I had covered 850 km in 8 hours and 15 minutes.
The moment I came to the road from Bengaluru-Mysuru, there was traffic for the next 40 to 45 km. The Mysuru bypass is ready, so you do not have city traffic, as the ring road connects to the airport. The ride from Mysuru to Masinagudi is very relaxing as you drive through the Bandipur and Madumalai forest reserves. As we passed through, we saw Bison, a mother elephant and her calf, hoard of stained, and a pair of faults. All the animal photos were captured by the A6 except for the tiger photographed by a gypsy during the jungle safari. After half an hour without interruption I reached the Jungle Hut in Masinagudi at 3.30 pm. This was my third visit to Masinagudi and Jungle Hut. I love this hotel because you can drive up and down through the forest reserve until 8.30 clock in the evening and see a lot of fauna along the road. The Jungle Hut Resort is a fabulous place to stay. There is a personal touch because the owners, Anushree and Vikram, personally take care of the everyday life of the resort. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is warm. The best part is that the quality of the food is very good: everything is homemade from their cucumbers to the canned and they even bake their own bread. The second stop was Tranquil Resort in Wayanad, a distance of no km from Jungle Hut and seven kilometers from Sultan Battery. This no-km ride from Masinagudi is very picturesque as you drive through the bamboo forest and then turn right onto Gudalur. Once you leave Gudalur, the landscape changes. Now you see the hilly terraces of tea plantations and the winding road through the mountains is simply breathtaking. The ride was very relaxing as I was just walking along Trundling and enjoying the scenery. After the moo-km long nonstop ride from Pune to Masinagudi, this no-km two-hour drive felt just around the corner. The Tranquil Resort is located on a 400-acre coffee plantation. They say it's a home stay, but, frankly, it's as good as any five star resort. The tree villa I stayed was beautiful; In fact, the entire hotel is in its original form directly from the rooms, the well-kept gardens, the swimming pool to the dining area.

Hyundai Elantra Review
Hyundai Elantra Review
IN INDIA, WHEN YOU THINK CAVES, They think either Ali Baba or Ajanta and Ellora. Almost everyone I've ever met has at least heard of them, many of whom were visiting. I, on the other hand, despite living in Maharashtra for all my nearly 28 years, was still one of the state's, and the country to visit most iconic historic destinations. Well, there is no better time than now, so I decided to correct this particular oversight and leave the heady lights of the tech-savvy Pune back and visit these rustic stone structures from deep in the annals of the Indian past. A round trip of over 600 kilometers and a day to do it I needed a car that could cover the track pretty quickly, hold me comfortably, and grab all the tech to keep this Pune saturated. The obvious choice was then the new Hyundai Elantra, so I grabbed the keys, tanked up the big 56-liter tank of diesel, and set my alarm for 4.00 am the next day. We set off before the sun showed her face and covered a lot of ground thanks to the superb 128 hp 1.6-liter turbo diesel engine that powered the Elantra. The road is pretty good when a little overcrowded here, and the Elantra's easy handling and low-end grunt were a great help to sweep past the truck and cars that populate the highway. Our first stop was the Ellora Caves, just outside Aurangabad. We knew that we had arrived in Aurangabad when we saw a memorial for the city population of the Indian Army who presented a T-55 Battle Tank. On the way to the Ellora Caves we made a short stop at the famous Daulatabad Fortress. Next it was past one of the famous 13 gates (which still stand, the original 52) and towards the caves. After taking in the sights, it was again off, this time under the tight curves up, and our goal quickly approached. The Ellora Caves are a collection of 34 fissures dug in the rock face, with some of the older dating as far back as the fifth century AD. Cave i6, more popularly known as the Kailasa Temple, is easily the most prominent point here. With the distinction of being the largest monolithic structure in the world, you can imagine how grandiose the structure is. But you do not have to imagine that; Take a look at the pictures. The caves not only host to Hindu deities either because of the length and breadth of the 34 caves to play an eclectic mix of Buddhist, Jain and Hindu shrines. It takes a little time to go and explore all the caves, so make sure you carry a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes. There is a direct route from Ellora to Ajanta, and we continue on this road. The streets are a mishmash of good, evil, and a blowpipe all the way, but Elantra's elastic suspension swallowed up all the bad bits and kept me in good spirits. Soon we had arrived at the car park of the Ajanta Caves and were waiting for the bus to take us four kilometers to the base of the cliff where they are carved. The contrast in seat comfort and the quality of the air conditioning was quite obvious. Luckily, I did not have to suffer the bus trip too long.
The 30 caves of Ajanta are all Buddhists, and a whole lot older than the Ellora caves. From the second century BC For a section and the fifth century AD For the second, these ancient caves are preserved in untouched condition until today, and although it is with another long way around, the effort is worth it. Some of the carved statues of Buddha in various incarnations and beautiful murals narrating his life stories are enchanting in their beauty, and even the position of the caves that look over a gorge through which runs the river Waghora is spell in its beauty. You can also spot a few langoors in the area, and the aesthetics of the area is overall very enjoyable. Both Ajanta and Ellora are amazing places to drip with history and art, and I'm quite glad I finally got the chance to see it all first hand. When we returned home and hit Car India's HQ in the saddle of the car, we realized that we had to deal with Aurangabad again on the way out. But why do if you can go and catch a last place of intrigue? So I quickly added a waypoint to our route: the famous Bibi ka Maqbara by Aurangzeb son, Azam Shah, built in memory of the mother of the latter. The architecture and overall structure built in 1678 is reminiscent of India's most famous cultural heritage, the Taj Mahal, and thousands of people come here to admire their elegance and fascination. As the sun sank back into the horizon and covered the white marble of the Maqbara in a tangerine glow, I made my way back to the Elantra for this final ride home. One day well spent soaking in the culture of my home country, and I was glad I had done it from behind the wheel of this luxurious ride.
Skoda Rapid Review
SKODA RAPID REVIEW
FIVE YEARS AGO, SKODA RAPID was born and honestly at the beginning of his life it was a handsome car that managed to turn his heads. Over time their family members such as the Yeti, Superb and Octavia received major updates, but the Rapid remained pretty much the same. It felt old and looked out of place between the Spanking new Skoda family. The Skoda engineers probably thought of communicating the rapidly deserved modern treatment. The Skoda Rapid has been reworked and now looks very impressive in the Skoda lineup in India. Was a half decade waiting really worth it? We drove to Dehradun to find out how hip this latest skoda is. At the beginning, the Rapid has always been one of the most sought after Skoda cars in India mainly because it was the entry into the brand after the sudden farewell of the cute Fabia. The swanky looking exterior of the new Skoda Rapids is the freshest of the Czech car makers and honest, the new design makes the Rapid more like its older siblings. The headlamp unit is new with LED DRL and gives the car a very European look.
New Skoda Rapid Test DriveThe new bumper, also adds a lot of fashionable character to the rapid fascia. It is the new wide lattice, which, however, brings together the entire family look. We also appreciate the fact that the minimum rear end of the new Rapid is now in line with the rest of the sharp angle design. The whole design exudes maturity, elegance and refinement and is above all pleasant to see. The interior architecture of the new Rapid is also in harmony with the rest of the family. Simplicity is the name of the game on the inside, some Skoda are known for. Your signature No-Nonsense-Touch is clearly in the cabin. The new dashboard has all the necessary touches, including a new 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink connectivity Yes, a mirror connection that allows you to pair your smartphone with the system and it literally reflects your phone on the Display. Apart from this, the new Rapid comes with a variety of other creature comforts and features that are sure to attract a whole host of tech-savvy customers. The Rapid remains the same as the cab; However, the leatherette seat covers are new and they feel first class. Also the steering wheel is new, although the instrument console remains the same. Space-wise, Rapid is one of the best cars in its segment thanks to plenty of space. Quality and passability were never an issue for the Czech automobile manufacturers, and the Rapid is very good in terms of interior quality. Yet it is not just the aesthetics that gave Rapid a new identity. It is the stuff under the hood, which has also been tweaked. The x.5-liter in-line four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is the same unit; But that is the tip where the engineers were involved. Earlier the same x.5 TDI engine used to produce 105 hp and 250 Nm of torque, but the tweaked one churns no PS and 250 Nm of torque, which is transmitted to the front wheels via the excellent seven-speed DSG. Now the shock on the power might not be significant, but it works in terms of improving the car's fuel efficiency and drivability. In terms of feeling, the engine does not feel much different than before, because there is still light engine chatter that filter through the cabin; The refinement and smoothness levels have not really improved, but they are still quite good. However, the performance and the torque delivery are quite sorted. Skoda Rapid CommentsThe 250 Nm of torque are available from 1,500 rpm up to 2,500 rpm and max power of 4,000 rpm. Although there is a bit of turbocharger below 1,500 rpm, which is natural, it does not really urge you to accelerate. The delivery is also linear and not abrupt, and as soon as you reach 1500 rpm, the Rapid moves in a much civilized way. Acceleration is smooth and you never have to work your right foot hard to find the right amount of input. In terms of driveability, I do not really feel the extra five horses are working their magic, although just a real test on the road will show the tiny differences between the previous car and this. Overall, the driveability was awesome, mainly because the seven-speed DSG wonders. This transmission from the VW Group is a technical miracle and adds a lot more refinement to the Rapid. It shifts gently, the force transmission is seamless and the downward layers are alsoQuite fast. It makes driving the rapid at low speeds a matter of convenience. Speaking of performance, I did not really push the rapid hard as we were in the mountains. On the few stretches of the straight open road I got, I managed to nail the throttle and check the acceleration, and I must mention that the Rapid was quite fast. When we drove from Dehradun to Mussoorie, the queen of the mountains, Rapid felt no different when dealing with the earlier car, especially because the suspension was exactly the same as before. The MacPherson strut at the front and the multi-link setup at the rear are on the softer side of things, making the Rapid a nice ride that was a Skoda brand feature from the days of the first Octavia. However, the setup is not like sponge; It has the right amount of softness that allows Rapid to absorb shocks and curls with ease, while keeping everything in line when sudden directional changes are made. In the hills, direction changes are all. I was glad the Rapid kept his line like a well-trained puppy. The steering reacted in a very nice way with lots of feedback, which was trustworthy. There was a bit of body-roll, but with a soft setup, one gets noticeable body-roll. However, it never made me nervous.
