sabrina had managed to get out of the party with little trouble. true she had more or less slipped out after batting her eyes at some rookie and acting innocent. but she had nothing to hide! and she had nothing to do with this. despite any guilt by association she might have. but of course after getting high and drunk after that whole mess, sabrina was a bit paranoid. had she gotten caught for something else? did she miss rent again? someone she pissed off? ramiro's voice was the sweetest sound though. not bothering to turn on any lights from her hiding spot in the dark, she threw the door open. he wouldn't be able to stop her as she flung herself at him for a hug. " ramiro! " the world tilted a bit her her reveling still affecting her. " césar won't like you if you break my door down. " she giggled and thought of her short and angry landlord.

Enough time had passed where he wasn't even shocked at her antics. He remained still as she practically forced him into an embrace. Realistically, Ramiro wasn't much of a hugger but he didn't exactly push her away either. Instead just letting it happen but not mirroring it too much. He was here so that was his own sign that he cared. "Well, then maybe next time you could you know - try answering your phone. I swear I feel like some kind of stalker by how many times I tried calling." That was his own version of concern. But he could sign in relief that nothing chaotic had happened regarding her."You're okay right? And you're being careful?" He gave the other a look that said he was going to judge if she wasn't. Something didn't sit right with Ramiro when thinking about the turn of events. From the celebration at the casino to it turning to hell in no time with the news that broke out. All he could control was making sure the people he cared for were looked after.

Tomas could only imagine how lost he looked in a place like this. Clearly, he was not shopping for himself. Honestly, he was about to just say screw it and resort to buying a bottle of cheap wine at the store. But before he could a voice spoke up, probably sensing how uncomfortable he was. That must have meant she knew all of this better than most. "Kind of. My neighbor is more or less of a wine snob, kind of want to repay her somehow for something but I feel like I am drowning here. Any recommendations? Something that won't hurt my wallet nor will have her asking me too many questions. But still better than some Boone's Farm type of wine that college kids always seem to buy when they're underage."

"Stranger things have happened." He shrugged, but the hint of a smirk still played on his lips. The idea was impossible but perhaps hope made it entertaining even if it was imaginative - her doing charity work would amuse him to the highest degree. However- Nothing in life was free so he couldn't hold it against the woman. "Right, because you have a long list of fans I'm sure. I mean there is an audience for that - you know, the ones who like to be stepped on with those same heels. The one's who like to be punished." He didn't get it. "You would be surprised though at how much damage heels can do. A few weeks back, this customer used it like a fire poker in her boyfriend's eye when he gambled away a few months worth of their rent." Telling the story without a reaction, it was brutal but Rocky had seen way more chaos and damage. "So, are you going to play this whole game of clue like everybody else? Who do you think did it?"

"There's too many people for them to keep tally." He responded back. Cale wasn't going to wait around and wait for his turn that was for sure. Home had been calling his name since he set foot into the casino. Hues looked around, searching - though not quite positive to what. But the other had a point. One that sparked enough curiosity into his own soul. "I wouldn't doubt it, sure whatever this shit was - it was planned out. Now, let's see if law enforcement isn't as dumb as many portray them to be. We all know there are enough doughnut jokes to go around." He nodded upon the other's admittance. "Hell I should have left way before. It's going to be one big cluster fuck getting outta here now."

Noah shook his head, dark eyes darting a look all around the casino floor and surveying the pockets of patrons scattered all around. "Never went to prom m'self, but...this ain't that far off from how I pictured it," Noah remarked, turning his attention back to Cale then. "Everybody packed in one place like a can of sardines?" He whistled low under his breath, "No way shit doesn't pop off at some point." Noah hated that he held such a pessimistic view, especially at a celebration that was allegedly all about love, but he couldn't help himself, not with the way tensions were at a constant high. Chuckling softly, he nodded at Cale, "I'm gonna hold ya to that." Noah shrugged a shoulder, "Make sure you snag the top shelf shit while you're at it. If we're drinkin' on their dime, might as well make it worth it, right?"

"It's over hyped and quite cheesy. You didn't miss much." It was just one of those cliche things, something you had to participate in. Like one of these events. Better to show face than not. He snuck in liquor there too. Cale guessed some things never changed. "You can say that again, if only we could bet on who ends up the shit starter. Now that is something I could find myself involved in." Cale estimated it probably would involve the MC. They were the rebels, violence calling them like some kind of siren. He immediately found himself laughing though at the other's advice. Another valid point. If Cale was going to set aside his pride, the man definitely was going to grab the most expensive bottle he could find. "Probably get more use out of it than some of their type. They collect those fancy bottles for the art of some shit alike. I am too smart to ask - knowing those kinds of snobs would go on and on about how the top tier booze is better than the cheap kind. My logic - it all makes you feel the same thing eventually. One just hurts your wallet less."

"A modern day man, that's a shame." Rosa didn't mind winning more money when she didn't have to share or be the one paying the bills. Certainly she could buy presents and pay for date nights to her own liking but it shouldn't be something she had to do for their shared livelihood. Men left. At least in her past so she knew better than to give more than they deserved. "Well, Tomas— I'm sad to hear you didn't bring yours but I think you're too smart for me to pass a quick one on. I'd play the long game with you." She'd get close, find something she wanted, then she'd bail. "That's a compliment, by the way." Perhaps he wouldn't understand why but he didn't need to. She only took her time with people she knew would have more hidden away or because she felt like she may enjoy their company enough to play it out.

"Something tells me you would get bored. Plenty of other opportunities that would be way more convenient." It wasn't meant to be a challenge. A quick fix was far more easier than the long game that she mentioned. Time was precious after all. "If your mind's made up - probably nothing I can do to change that course. But, if you're into playing games you probably shouldn't have warned me. Now I am prepared." It was an effortless observation. But he rose his brow in turn. "If money's what you're after - just a little spoiler, this is probably the only suit I own. I am blue collar, so we get paid way less than what we deserve."

If you want to conquer fear, don't sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy. That mentality was coursing through Carter's veins since the news broke out from earlier. He was at the saloon and had been for quite some time, going through inventory and making sure everything was in precise order. However, he didn't expect company but hues weren't shocked at all when they locked in who had her head resting on the bar table like she owned the place. "If you can sleep on something as hard as that, I am going to need you to give me some pointers." Not quite believing a place like a table was the perfect scenario for napping but he wouldn't judge her for it. She looked exhausted. "Are you hungry? Sure I can cook up something."

The man was no novice to chaos. Nothing like somebody being murdered and found to have everyone from the event scatter like the whole place was on fire. Worries were like a poison to everybody. But one had control of their own self and Ramiro's priority was checking in on the people he gave a damn about. And when somebody didn't answer their phone in response - maybe that bit of worry began to increase. He didn't like any loose ends and with violence lurking at every corner - the last thing he wanted to hear was someone from his circle was the next victim. So here he was pounding profusely at Sabrina's front door. "Sabrina. If you're in there you have about ten seconds before this door's hinges are not in tact." A promise being spoken. It was either that or he would break a window. Desperate times called for desperate measures.

"i think i'm just more of a fan of spending my hard earned money on other things," she admitted in all honesty. jo was the kind of individual who wasn't exactly cheap, but she liked to invest her incomes in other ways. gambling to her just seemed like a really easy way to go broke. "is there any games here you have faith in with people actually winning anything? or do you think it's just pure luck?"

Everybody had their own hobbies, or own right on how they spend their money. Rocky didn't judge her there so he resorted to nodding. "There's no cheat code in life, sometimes you just have to try your hand and see what you get back." Perhaps it was a cop out but it seemed like a good middle ground for the question at hand. "If you are worried about money though, there are slots around here that are pretty cheap."
