We only have a few bags of beans to sell tomorrow, and they'll probably sell pretty quickly. But you know who has more? @bodegapdx is who! They even have some medium ground bags in addition to the whole bean variety (and don't tell anyone but they actually sell them for a little less than we do). While we're a long way off from being able to serve coffee for in-house consumption, we do have some fantastic options for out-house consumption. Ummm that sounds a bit wrong, so ignore that and know for the first time our lineup of regular coffees are all certified organic, and they span the taste spectrum! A natural Ethiopia with jasmine and apricot, a rich, creamy Peru with butterscotch and brown sugar notes, and a sweet cane sugar, almond and chocolatey Honduras. You can now come in until 3:00 PM to pick up Beans, Brew or Both (tm) as we've extended our hours by exactly one. Today is our three year anniversary of opening, and of me and Katie's embarking on this truly strange exploration of our passions and selves. It feels crazy that this community has made it possible for us to do this as a career, even moreso that I've been able to incorporate my weird rock obsession and haven't alienated everyone. Checking in with a little update as we continue our rebuild and trudge toward reopening to some degree: we have finally added a tip function to our online store due to public demand, and will be donating 100% of those tips to orgs that support BIPOC causes and BLM activism for the foreseeable future. Thank you in advance for anything you can give and do! The fight for justice is far from over, and the link in our bio provides a huge but still incomplete list of black owned businesses to support in Portland. Second, we have a new pulp natural Brazil in the lineup for online orders, effectively taking the place of the Guatemala but there's still a few bags left of that so snap those up while you can. We have the Uganda and sugarcane process Colombian decaf available too, with some exciting new selections in the works for the near future, so look out for those! Lastly, the aforementioned rebuild goes slowly on, but it's coming together now and we are very excited to begin safe service... soon! Wish we could be more specific, but it's looking good for July.
