While I wouldn't rule it completely out, I wouldn't keep my hopes super up for a Sydcarmy wedding in S5 either. I don't think Coco would spoil the series finale like that, it's too good to be true, but either way, it's all the same because they will definitely be in each other's lives forever, that has already been confirmed by the teasers. Endgame all the way, chefs!
And if I wanna really hit gas of my delusion here I could easily infer that even though JAW and Shanola have always been seen together now and then around LA, the precise timing of this sighting is kinda suspicious.
It does fit the formart of a soft meta promo campaign, if I wanted to connect the dots that way.
But I don't. I do think that JAW and Shanola strolling and working out together when JAW knows al eyes are on him bc S5 is about come out and The Mandalorian and Grogu's movie had just hit theaters and definitely needs a nudge bc is not doing well in the box office, is indeed just a simple coincidence. Yet, like I said, the timing would definitely work if his team in collaboration with his dear long time friend's, wanted to push the meta promo agenda and have them be seen in public, having a normal, happily ever after life, (almost family life) with someone who he loves very much and may look like Syd if you look from afar without paying attention. His fans' minds would easily make a free association with that image if they fit the "Sydcarmy truther hunting for clues that indicate that Sydcarmy endgame is gonna go canon in a few days" profile. IK it sounds crazy, PR is crazy, especially nowadays, with SM and a fandom that is craving promo content bc the network and showrunner starve it. PR teams know that any slight feed of content can lead to a spiral of speculations and if someone wants to avoid the paps, they know how to do it. Same as if someone wants to be seen with someone, in LA.
But again, I don't think this is the case of this last pic. I do see a clear pattern when it comes to the previous images and how later similar situations happened in the following season.
Let's hope that the wedding vibes their respective S4 outfits were giving in S4's premiere's have some connection with the series finale, because that was the last promo we got from them as a group family-family, so far.
We're gonna have to pay special attention to S5's premiere event in Chicago, but I don't think they would spoil the finale there. So I'm more inclined to believe that whatever meta promo they decide to insinuate will happen before that day, and actually already has.
