Well Romeo and Noir both have supernatural strength and speed which they both use to their advantage, Romeo doing so to stalk his obsession while remaining unnoticed whereas Noir does so to be a completely unstoppable powerhouse, they both also have the ability to manipulate and disappear into shadows, which Romeo once again uses to stalk his obsession while remaining hidden whereas Noir does so to listen in on confidential conversations as well as fleeing law enforcement. Romeo also has an outstanding sense of smell which he uses to compliment his obsession many times.

Introducing all of the characters! Don't get too attached.

Y/N being a human practically does not affect the game whatsoever since it is all up to your interpretation as a player. All of the characters will treat you the same nonetheless. In fact, you could probably just think of Y/N as being whoever, human or non-human since the character is meant to be the idea of being "you" or at least the representation of yourself.

Noir believed that his parents' violent and aggressive nature helped him become an emotionless gangster, being determined to continue their legacy, whereas (as much as he hates to even think about it) Romeo is somewhat relieved that his parents were no longer able to hurt him.

As of now I do not, but there will be sprites and drawings of him for flashback/experiment tape purposes where you get to see how bad of a state he was in while he was younger.

The world of which my visual novel takes place is a dystopian world where nobody (Besides the protagonist, Y/N) is a human, but every character will be humanoid. Furthermore, the visual novel takes place in a state that is heavily inspired by California as the legal drinking age is 21 and marijuana is legal.

Their species are mostly unknown, but it can be inferred that they are both demonic entities, and they both harness the power to manipulate and disappear into shadows, allowing for them to be stealthy, which Romeo uses to stalk his obsession whereas Noir uses his abilities to flee from law enforcement.

Another detail about Romeo's teenage years that is even apparent to present day is that Romeo barely ever removes his hat due to damage he had inflicted to his scalp from ripping out chunks of hair from stress he'd face while being locked up and drugged.

During his teenage years, Romeo constantly doubted whether humanity was good, especially after finally entering civilisation after being locked up for years, hoping to find someone with enough humanity that can nurture him in a loving way.

He dressed up nicely just for you! He'll be sure to make this night one to remember for the both of you.

Noir is the incredibly abusive and cold-hearted brother of Romeo who put him through a life of torment after the death of their parents, stating that Romeo was a traitor to his own bloodline after their own mafia boss father was killed by the police and refusing to continue their business alongside each other.

Romeo is an obsessive and love-obsessed fanatic whose sole purpose is to make himself perfect for the one he truly loves... that's you, I believe.

What does family mean to you?

I am proud to announce that I am currently building a team for an upcoming visual novel of mine that revolves around a man's obsession with finding comfort and love as well as another man's desire to continue his family's drug-fuelled legacy.
