carmie!!

-i dont think i have much to say for ren? nothing very special about my design for her. i think she has a kind of effortlessly cool and cute vibe to her.. if you asked her what her skincare routine is she would probably say soap. its so important to me that her hair stays textured and frizzy (me too girl) and i think its usually in loose ponytails. these doodles arent coloured but her socks are black.

-i tried keeping in mind how akechis experience would change as a girl so shes meant to look pretty fem and kind of proper and elegant. big emphasis on the detective princess thing (i love the little curls at the end of her hair.. its generally slightly wavy but its styled to be quite sleek. a couple flyaways bc i need her to keep some of that slight wet rag aura). i dont even actually think she particularly enjoys looking the way she does, its simply because she has a public image to market.

-shes of course not weak considering her work but i do think shes on the thinner side. i dont think she looks after herself very well beyond things that affect her image. i believe its implied to be canon through various bits of dialogue that she doesnt actually eat very well?

-shes much more modest, again her whole thing with public image and the deceitful nature of her character. i think she has freckles that she covers with makeup and things like that.

-i also think that she has a number of small scars and brusies (combo of her work, bruising easily due to her diet, and possibly things from past abuse or self inflicted stuff) and the black tights (that i did not bother colouring sorry!!) and gloves help cover that. plus again her whole thing with hiding her true self and putting up facades.. im trying to retain little things like that from her original design if that makes sense?
