Pre-campaign in a Matt game he played a character killing people behind everyone's backs - 'evil' acts in a non 'evil' campaign? Don't get in the way of the story or other player's decisions, evil means not evil ends.
Re inside Bolaire's mask - There's mechanisms to the theatre, and a question of what's outside the theatre, it's a liminal space
What happens if Bolaire reveals more of himself but Hal doesn't agree or rejects it? Bolaire sees himself as Companion to Hal's Dr Who, built to play second fiddle. Some people when they get a new emotional problem they fall back on fiction. Bolaire doesn't experience emotions the same way but they do ape them and a lot of what they ape comes from Hal. Taliesin doesn't know how they'd react, it might break them
Alignment? - Built to kill gods and uplift mortal experience, tool against violent rule or deep classism, not negotiable, scorpion on turtle's back
Bolaire and the Panto were always conscious, just no free will. It's an improv team of caricatures, the harlequinade. If he finds them he'll try to awaken them
Effect of certain spells - we'll find out as it comes, that's part of the fun. Hard to kill but easy to chuck in a box, being hard to kill is Taliesin's least favourite part
When Bolaire transfers there's risk of being rejected, risk of being outwitted by the host, the mask wasn't made to be used this way so it can go very wrong
Looking forward to flashbacks to some of the transfers
The flashback scene to the play was something Taliesin and Brennan spoke about for 3/5 mins and then 20 mins later Brennan was rolling out the whole thing. He's scary but he talks to everyone and knows what we want to mess with
Warlock subclass is customised, haunted object. Bolaire is his own patron.
