A smile formed as she looked over at the woman. It was something Tori really just wanted to put on a billboard with how long the process took. “I would feel bad, though. You should know I’ll feel bad if you do that.” Hazel eyes looked over at her for a moment, giving a small tilt of her head, giving into the woman. “Whiskey. Anything with whiskey.”

“Mm no. Please don’t feel bad. From the bottom of my heart, I want to celebrate this amazing moment, so girl, you better let me get you free drinks.” She teased as she chuckled. “You got it.” Getting the different bottles and a recipe, she cooked up that whiskey drink for the other before handing it to her. “Ta da!”

“True. I guess that’s the one good thing about technology. People are too busy to notice any of my clumsy moments,” she smiled as she nodded. “Honestly, my bachelor’s was a breeze compared to this. But it’s more just all the information thrown at you at once. Once the semester moves a little towards the middle, it calms down till finals. It’s just how professors throw everything at you when you first start their class.”

“Good and bad cause one moment nobody even notices, then the next you find yourself as a meme.” She joked, but it was kinda true. “Crap, you’re going further in your degree? Kudos to you, girl.” She then nodded, “Oh definitely. Let’s hope your winter break comes fast.”

“Very. My nickname was grace in school. It’s really just embarrassing more than anything at this point,” she scrunched her face in thought. “I hope. Med school really tests my patience at times though. But so far, I’ve been acing the semesters. Crossing my fingers to keep it going that way.” The redhead looked over at the woman, giving a small nod. “Um, just a coffee with almond milk. Nothing fancy.”

Shaking her head, she tried to offer something nice to say, “Hey, it’s fine. Look, nobody even noticed your little clumsy moment. If anything, they’re all too busy on their phones.” She then widened her eyes, “Oh my gosh you sound so busy. Yes, congrats on your semester success. When I was in college, I don’t think I had it as hard as you.”

“Yeah, yeah, I’m good.” James replied with a nod, figuring that it was indeed probably a good idea to get out of the way. The last thing he wanted to do was have anyone else run into him because he was lost in thought. With another nod, James took a few steps so they were now standing off to the side. “I’m just a bit lost is all.” James admitted with a shrug of his shoulders. “Nothing to worry about, it happens all the time.“ He smiled softly, though it might have seemed lie a rather big deal to someone else, getting lost quite often. At the mention of coffee though, he perked up a bit. “I think- That’s where I was heading too. At least I’m sure of it.” He replied with his brows slightly furrow, where he was going already slipping from his mind as well.

Nodding her head as she looked at him, she said, “Well if you do need help, i’m here. Though i’m not sure what kind of help I can provide, seeing as I don’t know where you’re supposed to be or where you’re going right now, but I can be here until you figure it out.” It was the best she could offer she figured. “Oh really? Come on, let’s go get coffee and possibly a muffin. I can never pass those up.” She said excitedly as she went to lead the way to the coffee shop.

“Okay good. I would’ve felt bad all day if I knew you weren’t good.” She ended up grinning softly. “Lost? Well maybe I can help. I don’t have to be at my work for...well whenever.” Perks of being a boss, she thought to herself. “Well then come on, let’s go get that coffee you think you were looking for. Do you remember your favorite one? I can get it for you.” The woman offered as she continued to walk and motioned for the other to follow her.

“Oh, I’m good. I’m used to it by now,” she reassured, giving her a smile. “I hope so, but it’s just the start of the semester, so it might be a while,” she scrunched her face in thought. “Are you sure? I would feel bad if you did.”

“Wait, so you’re naturally clumsy?” She chuckled softly. “Oh my gosh, I remember how that was. I hope you get all A’s this semester.” Sara then said, “I’m sure. Don’t feel bad. What kind of coffee would you like?”

“Totally fine. I can handle that,” a smile formed on her face as she adjusted the books in her hand. “I think my body is trying to tell me it’s been too long of a day and I need caffeine. And I’ll totally buy you one.”

“Do you need help with those books?” She offered, holding her hands out just in case the other wanted her help carrying them. “Yeah, you should probably take the longest nap after you study. Thanks, but i’ll get it because it looks like you could use something good in all that book madness.” Heading inside, she then stood in line to get their coffees.

Lyra paused at that, raising an eyebrow as she tilted her head in disbelief. “See, I’m afraid I’m not trusting enough to believe a beautiful stranger offering me that kind of money. Besides, I’m here on a scholarship anyway, so luckily my tuition is covered. I literally wouldn’t be here otherwise.” She did consider herself lucky despite how hard she had to work to be at college because she did still have opportunities she knew her parents hadn’t had. And she wasn’t going to waste it; she was going to graduate in two years, quit her cafe job, and secure a placement at one of the law firms she’d already interned at during the summer.

“Alright, alright. You’ll get sober dancing. I’m not that great, but only for you,” he smiled and winked at her. Mason then nodded at her words and grinned. “That’s right. I’ll be waiting on that dance from you. We could close up the club and you can dance for me then.” As she sat up, Mason joined her as well. “Depends how you’re going to prove it,” he joked, looking at her. After she spoke, Mason bit his lips and smirked at her. “I like bossy Sara, though. She can come out anytime,” he then moved closer to her to kiss her lips once more.
