Don't play Deltarune at 3AM
Hello there. So, here's the story.
A couple of days ago, an anonymous user sent me the build of an unfinished game just called deltarune along with the message 'don't play deltarune at 3am'.
I immediately thought it was a joke because Deltarune is literally my favorite game and this thing was the typical cheap creepypasta of scary stuff happening at 3am. But uh in the end I got curious and decided to try to run the game. I thought i could be a fangame developer using a weird tactic to promote their game or smth. Worst thing that could happen is that it could be a trojan virus and it could damage my pc and make me feel like a complete idiot.
So I started running the setup. Very similar to Survey_Program, it started with a warning before i could run the game. Although I don't remember exactly what it said, it did mention something about moving away from the cemetery. Of course, I decided to proceed, if this turned out to be a bad idea, at least it would be an interesting story to tell, wouldn't it?
Surprisingly, the game opened like Deltarune on the first chapter, with the legend playing as the opening, but i immediately noticed the game was completely silent during this whole cutscene. Even the main menu was silent, no sound effects at all. Now here is the real weird part: All chapters were already unlocked. From 1 to 7, all chapters were visible, had full names and icons. However, none of these were playable except for chapter 6.
When selecting chapter 6, it showed that it already had an used saved file in it, with a playtime from around 2hrs and 20 iirc. Out of curiosity, i decided to play using that save file.
The game immediately started and... It was just Kris (dark world form) standing on a black void. At least that's what it seemed like, because whene i started moving i would start to notice several collisions. This is what made me realize that the game was most definitely unfinished. Sometimes i would even try to interact with whatever things i smashed Kris' face into to see if something happened, and Kris would sometimes turn in to placeholder kris when in teracting with certain stuff, but nothing else would happen.
I was about to give up on this thing, when i suddely managed to leave the scene, and arrived to another black void. This let me know that this was apparently an entire unfinished map. Now i had a mission; to find something interesting in this unfinished fangame. And oh boy did i find something...
This account was created to archive some of the strange things I found in this supposed deltarune fangame, and of what I presume, is a secret boss made for this fangame.
