This Person has been harassing me and other people for liking a character from a webcomic. The Webcomic in question is 'This is not Romance' and the character is Sid, one of the main characters of said comic.

For context: I knew him when he posted his drawings on Twitter and followed him on Tiktok, he followed me after some time (mainly after he saw a Video where made funfacts about Sid) this is important to mention because he claimed that I only followed his accounr to get something from him.

I was Harassed by Kevin 10 Months prio for simply asking about a Picture that they had as on Tiktok profil.

When he said no, I respected that and simply asked on Tumblr in the Hashtag instead (just a glimmer a chance that someone might have it), they saw it and commented it on it.

I did reasurced Kevin that the post wasn't out of malicious intent and that I was just asking other people. Nothing more.

I thought Everything was fine afterwards bit when I checked on Tiktok, this is what I saw.

I was weirded out by it when I first saw it but I didn't thought nothing of it and moved on.

Weeks past and I asked on a Telegram group about this picture. This is when first heard about Kevin general behavior, they descriped him as very aggresive when it comes to Sid and attacked who even liked him or yumeshipped with him.

One of the people (Allusha) reached out on me and asked about how he excatly talked with me and if he was rude to me. I did sendet her the screenshots of the convo and his tiktok stories, She then told me that that Kevin also harassed her at some point and how he turned one of her friends against. I was mortified at the time but she reasured me that she was fine and got over it.

While we talked, she managed to find partian of the pic that I was looking for and gave it to me. I was really drilled, thanked her for it and posted it on my Tiktok story and later made a slideshow of it.

I thought nothing much of it and went on my day but when I later checked on it, I saw that Kevin watched it and also made a Story about that.

I was already weirded out by Kevins behavior (mainly because he already posted me on his story to shittalk about me, the way he treated other Sid fans and some of his Content as I dug deep into it) but this was even more weird so I soft blocked him (Ik i should've just hard blocked him but I thought it was way to much so I left it in that)

Out of pure pettiness (and annoyance), I change my profilpic to his. This was basically saying "Piss off and Fuck you 🖕" to him because I was genunily sick of his behavior.

Next thing I know, He was watching my story again and he was pissed about it. He made some post on his story and ran to his tumblr account to go off on my face. (On post where I just let out my frustation with him without namedropping him.)

When this shit was happening, I was talking with my friends about and one of them noticed the "follow back" button on the right corner, I didn't notice it befor, checked again and that how found out that he followed me back for some reason. That's where I just hard blocked him.

One of my closes friends (Butter), suggested that I should maybe confronted Kevin with this because this was getting ridiculous, I hesitated and told them that I wasn't sure about it. They suggested that they could talk to them instead and I gave them my premission to do so.

Kevin did blocked them tho and posted them on his Story so nothing really came out of it.

Anyway, 10 Months passed and I didn't thought of Kevin. I was simply living my life, graduating from technical college and doing stuff.

I didn't blocked him on Tumblr at first because:

rarely used it and when i'm using it then it's for niche Fandom things that I look into or aesthetics stuff

I forgot to do it 😭

I simply just ignored his post when I was using the App.

I saw another pic of Sid and asked Tumblr again. It was just casual asking about it because I was bit Lazy to search for it now and because I thought Sid looked in that drawing like Micheal Jackson.

I didn't think much of it and went along my Day. Then I got a notification on my Ipad, looked into and-

It was Kevin. I blocked himbon Tumblr after that and just laughed about it with Allusha because I found it funny how mad he got and that he didn't changed his behavior. Also we put a pin📍 in there because this is going to be important later.

Then I got kinda curious and Checked on His Tiktok account if he was shittalking again and I was meeted with this.

Ok it's a bit Messy so i'm unpacking everything step by step so here we go.

The first three stories where he was talking about a Video where I Made Dib into Sid. He claimed that Copied him and brought back the story about me asking for the pic of Sid getting creamed, he said and I quote "YOU CRIED ON TUMBLR BECAUSE I WOULDN'T GIVE YOU MY PFP THEN YOU SENT YOUR ADULT FRIEND TO CONFRONT ME INSTEAD OF YOU AND THEN BLOCKED ME-"

First off... No I didn't cried on tumblr? I mean sure I was bumped about it but I wasn't THAT upset.

If you think that "I did asked someone but they kept it for themselves so idk anymore." as CRYING then that's your issue ig.

Also last time I checked, YOU where the one crying and having mental breakdown just because I ASKED you and then the community, YOU were upset for WEEKS. I was maybe upset for like some minutes and then moved on.

The only reason I sendet my friend to talk to you is because, I DIDN'T WANTED DEAL WITH YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR BEHAVIOR. If you didn't behave like a psychotic maniac and didn't had a mental breakdown over a bloody picture of Sid getting creamed with Whipcream then I would've maybe talked with you.

But now to adress the Elephant in the Room, no I didn't copied your idea. I MADE MY SIDIFICATION OF DIB IN JANUARY.

I made that thing in a joke to make jab about Sid being Dibs evil clone, I was already aware about it due it being mentioned on Fandom BTD wiki (R.I.P btw). But seeing actual Art from 2005 of Sid and that he was called "SPOOKY DIB" made me loose my shit that I had shitty draw Sid Features on Dib and sending it to my Best Friend made me giggle.

The only reason why posted the speedpaint recently was... was because I wanted to? For shits and giggles? I didn't had any ulterior motive or something I just wanted to post a funny Video.

Also if I had any ulterior motive, what would I gain from it? What would've been my goal Kevin? Claiming it was my creation?

Also also, PEOPLE CAN HAVE THE SAME IDEA, both pieces can co-exist without being labeld as "Orignal vs Copy"

Mine was crude and intentionally shitty redraw of Sid using Dibs official character png (It wasn't even a redraw it, I was slopply attaching Sids parts on Dib while also making him somewhat look like his 2000's design), While Kevins was a Screenshot redrawn of the actual show (specifically the Pilot and the scene was where Dib was charmed by Zim after he complimented him, circa at 8:13)

The second one was about this post specificly post from another account named @/d1bbys1ddy (which I later found out belong to Kevin)

In this post, It was stated that Farz was originally based on Dc Comic Scarecrow aka Dr. Jonathan Crane. I didn't knew it and thought it was cool but was also baffeld because... If you Look at Farz 2000's design and Jonathan Crane, it's a complete whiplash compare to Sid's 2000's design and Dib.

Anyway Kevin found an issue with it and he mentioned it in his Story.

Which is first off really weird in general to make fun of someone for not knowing one specific obscure fact about a Character and secondly... it's fact account Kevin, You put out facts for people, some people might've not known about those facts.

If you can't handle the fact that(pun intendet) don't know about these facts from the getgo, then you shouldn't be running a fact account, especially if you gonna make fun of them behind their back without them KNOWING.

The third story are basically just him being "BIG MAD >:(" because I was just asking about Sid Jackson.

Which I have no idea why exactly he got mad, I didn't approached him nor talked to him, I just minded my own buisness and did my own buisness.

Why did you felt the need to look into my Tumblr account or why did had the need to jump me for asking a question? You were never involved in this and yet here you are, Screaming at me and talking about me for NO reason other then being pissed that I mentioned Sid.

Also if it bother completely bothers you that "IF IT'S NOT ONE BITCH BOTHERING ME, IT'S ANOTHER", why do you even bother to help others to find pictures they didn't personaly find? You helped another person to find a Pic where Akira was Cutting Farz, so... why is it bad when I do the same? What's the Problem? Why are you exactly mad at ME for asking the community for help? Is it because it's specifcily about Sid?

While I was looking at his Story, I notice that he posted a Video, I watched it and it was him basically complaining about Sid Fangirls and that he had "bad experience" with them in the past.

To chalk it up From what I understood

He got mad at Allusha for following him because she shipped herself with Sid

He got mad at someone for making Sid Blond, accusing the Person for "Stealing" his Idea

He got mad at a Sid Yumeshipper for Drawing Sidney and claimes that Sidney was his idea, which is NOT TRUE, Female Sid/Sidney was designed by Gatobob herself (i'm using the Daily TINR links because I couldn't find it on Gatobob portfolio so here is the link https://x.com/i/status/1875453392237240586)

He was also mad at them because he didn't got credited for associating Sunset shimmer and Sid, the only that was midly bad at was not getting credited by the Ponydesign and the removal of the watermark for the edit

The last section was about me and shortend it extremly, This is also the section where he accused me of stealing his Sidification of Dib idea.

Claiming that I sendet my friend IMMIDATLY after him (which is a big Lie because, They only confronted him after he was harassing me only because of Cream Sid pic.)

First thing I did, I posted proof on my Story and adressed the thing with the Sid drawing. I made response Video to adress my part more cleary because Kevin was leaving out Context to make me look bad.

I posted my Video clarifying the thing what Kevin Said about me and what he intentionally left out.

Shortly after this, Kevin made a Story about me and claimed that I harassed him in his Tumblr askbox.

I freaked out because, like I said, I had hardblocked him on his Tumblr account shortly after he aggresivily confronted me on a block (the only time where I unblocked him was to get Dib Redraw from his account as proof) and that I didn't sendet those messages (Because how the fuck do you proof that when the Person was Anonomous)

I immiditaly Dm him about it (I called him a Jackass out of Panick and Anger) and told him that it wasn't me, he didn't belived me and was more concerned about the fact that the drawing wasn't "Lost media" and said that I should've blocked him (WHICH I DID??)

Shorty after this I blocked him again because of that, I was in panick and didn't know what to do anymore, I was scared that his Friends would come and harass me for a thing that **I** didn't even do.

I did calmed down after a while (thanks to my Friends and people who supported me) and I did made Video about it shorty after to clear my head.

Because now that I am thinking about it, it was suspcious that he now claimed that I harassed him After Imade the Video or Hell After I clarified in my Story that I did infact not steal from him.

I'm not accusing him of faking those messages, someone could've had an grude on him (I mean wouldn't be suprised tbh) but it does feel kinda suspcious.

I thank everyone who read this post so far, I didn't wanted to make it a big deal out of this and tried to ignore it, but Kevin made impossible and Snowballing it into a bigger Issue.

Please don't go out of your way to harass him, as much as I don't like him or how he treated me and the others, he doesn't deserve that.

Nobody deserved to be harassed like that, especially for a silly und unreasonable reason.

Raven and Strade were sent into enemy territory as a 2-person unit. The war was already over, their job was to do scouting in the defeated nation to make sure there were no groups or retaliations uprising.

Once Strade realized Raven was interested in him romantically, he showered her with praise of strength and persuaded her to join the army. Once there were scouting missions available, he took one immediately.

The 2 person units are meant to keep both units safer and accountable. Raven’s job [ as lower rank ] was specifically to report about their activities. However, Strade already had her wrapped around his finger. He’d kill innocent civilians and call it ‘defending her’. He pressured her to report only normal scouting to their home country. Since they were always alone together, in enemy territory, and strade was a much more capable fighter, she had little choice but to follow his command. 

This entire practice was poorly planned at best and corrupt at worst. A few years later, once the defeated nation was basically full genocidally wiped out, the Raven and Strade’s home country decided to cover up any historical record of the event.

Anyway, answer under the ‘keep reading’, because it’s long. [ and boring tbh, it’s fantasy history after all… ]

All right, so the planet [ I haven’t named it, I don’t like naming stuff if I don’t have to X’D ] is mostly comprised of two large continents. Left and right hemispheres, separated by a large amount of ocean.

One continent [ the one Raven and Strade are from ] is characterized by forests, rich minerals, and abundant life. The people on this continent have it pretty easy, so they spend their time developing very advanced technology.

The other continent is rocky and barren [ This is the area that I drew for the ‘Death’ chapter of TINR ]. The people who live here spend more time just trying to survive, so they don’t have the technological advancement of the other continent.

Eventually, the two races come into contact- They’re peaceful, and they begin to trade.

However, the high tech people find that they can get away with giving the lower tech people very little in exchange for labour and resources. The people on the rocky continent eventually begin to struggle even more thanks to the unfair trading.

The shitty balance is finally thrown off by a natural disaster. A massive blast of solar radiation hits the planet- right on the hemisphere with the advanced technology. It fries everything. The high tech people are thrown into total disarray. They can’t even handle basic function very well, since they all have implanted electronic meshes in their brains [ to access a sort of internet and interact with local wireless devices ].

The angry and oppressed rocky continent people take the chance to declare war. They travel to the high tech continent and attack the people. They manage to do some damage, but the higher tech people recover from the blast quickly. They repair their tech and retaliate. 

It’s a complete bloodbath, incredibly one-sided. The lower tech army is wiped off the forest content easily.

Unfortunately, that’s not the end of it. The high tech people are hysterical and afraid. They demonize the lower tech people and choose to continue the war on their home turf.

The high tech people haven’t gone to war in centuries before this. They have advanced weapons, but they have no experience organizing themselves. They unleash huge firepower with questionable soldiers and very little communication.

The ‘war’ descends into genocide.

This is where Strade and Raven sit on the timeline. Strade is deployed in an area that’s already long since surrendered. He takes Raven with him as the only other witness to report his actions.

I really like to leave it up to the player when it comes to my game characters- I feel like announcing a canon sexuality for those characters would just be super lame. I won’t be announcing any canon sexuality for TPOF characters for this reason.

My comic characters do have more of a defined sexuality though for the most part [ though not always, you know how I feel about details ]

TINR: [ Sid is Pan ] [ Farz is mostly straight ] [ Raven is mostly straight ] [ Farz and Raven sharing a body have a mixed and confusing sexuality which I guess could be described as Bi but it’s two people feeling each other’s sexual preferences and I don’t really think there’s a term for that ] [ Chet is Gay ] [ Anthony identifies as Bi but prefers men ] [ I’m leaving Strade out because he’s also a game character ]

Because I have this habit of having conversations with fictional characters in my head, and because I found TINR shortly after BTD, I would tend to accidentally mention BTD in the 'conversations' and all of them would freak out to different extents when I do so (Anthony being the most disturbed, sorry Anthony!). So that made me wonder.

I would have thought Sid might like horror, if it weren't for the thing that specifically says he doesn't like mentions of death. And maybe Farz would be okay-ish with it, but I don't know.

This is an interesting question! I suppose it kind of boils down to 'what is their tolerance to horror themes' in general.

Sid: Enjoys horror movies with some comedy in them. The kind that have really over-the-top unbelievable violence [ think Ash vs Evil Dead ]. But he gets scared and squeamish for more realistic or emotional horror movies [ Like the original Saw or Hereditary ]

Farz: Secretly likes the really dark, scary horror movies. Gets bored with the funny stuff. Purposely seeks out movies with really dark themes, even if they freak him out- seemingly trying to prove something to himself. [ Farz's cameo in BTD2 wasn't written by me, and I don't consider it part of his canon at all, this is 100% based on TINR Farz ]

Raven: Does not like horror movies at all. She's afraid of them triggering memories from her past.

Anthony: Actually kinda likes horror movies/games. He tends to push his own limits a little too far though, and can freak himself out. He won't watch them alone though [ definitely plays the 'put on a horror movie to encourage cuddling' card ]

Chet: Puts up with Anthony's requests for scary movies even though he doesn't like them. Gets especially rattled by jumpscares. He does actually handle the deeper dark themes well though.

I'm not sure if you answered this before, but i was wondering about the significance of strade in btd and strade in tinr. Are the two connected in anyway? What were your reasonings for adding him to both series?

As for your question, Strade was originally a character for my webcomic This Is Not Romance. He actually wasn't even going to originally appear at all but I decided last minute to add the 'Death' chapter for more backstory on Raven. [ The whole comic was written without a plan I admit LMAO ]

Later on, Darqx, EP and I talked about making a terrible dating sim with our worst characters as a joke. This is what eventually became BTD [ which may have started as a joke, but quickly became serious as we put real effort into it ]. All the original BTD characters were characters we'd already had or were using in other projects. [ For example, Rire was already Darqx's established character and remains part of the project 'BattlePriest' among other things ]

I generally consider Strade to be canon in both TINR and BTD, but not the same person [ different universes ] if that makes sense.

Kind of quiet, unsure, and a bit of a stuttering problem.

Somewhere between Brief [ Panty and Stocking ] and Morty [ Rick and Morty ]. Both of these characters are a lot younger than him, he’s pretty sensitive about his voice still cracking when he gets worked up even though he’s like 24.

Farz is difficult romantically.

He's a loner and he's introverted. He's anxious, and when he gets flustered he tends to shut down and clam up.

He also has a mountain of trust issues.

He lives alone and acts like he doesn't need anybody but he is lonely and does wish for a deeper connection.

Just curious, who is your first/oldest character you've made? Have you redesigned them at all, and if you have, how many times and what aspects did you change the most?

I'm honestly not really sure if the answer to this is Strade or Raven. They both started as very nebulous concepts when I was really young.

Strade started off as the general concept of a sadistic villain, mostly just existing in my head rather than in any art. In my head he had a lot of forms but looking back, I would say it was generally the same character- and it was that same character that finally got to have a design when I concepted his intro in TINR.

The argument for Raven might be stronger since when I was young I also liked to draw a tragic anime girl, same as tons of other weird kids back then LMAO I like to think the concepts behind the 'tragic anime girl' that I did draw over and over were eventually distilled into Raven, who I also drew more specifically before I made TINR.

I guess one weird thing about Raven is that a long long time ago, I used to draw her with a weird 'halo', but it was much bigger and centred around her eyes, light and incomplete. It wasn't meant to be an angelic symbol, but a symbol of blindness [ in a more abstract and spiritual sense rather than a literal one- I don't know, I was a weird kid. ]
