I just finished a week off from my admissions course and I’ve been doing some stitching! I sat down and started the blue sky and realised after I’d finished the half stitches in that colour that I had done it in one strand and it should have been done in two. So now I’m going back through with a second strand because I am not pulling the stitches out for that. I still have to add the second strand to that blue on the top right corner. So that sucked but my Cooktown orchid flowered for the first time ever! So that kind of made my week!

Trying to get as much done in the next two weeks as I possibly can because then things are going to get a little crazy at work and my hours are going to pick up a bit. The reason the stitches are speraticlly all over the place is because of how my floss is organized. All my dmc takes up three containers, so this week I worked out of container one, next week will probably be container three. I liked doing it this way, feels less systematic, I’m not jumping contains to do one poke at a time and it is fun honestly. I feel like it goes smoother this way in a slightly odd sense.

Hello Little Miss December Fairy

Four trees done, one to go! Which mean that I need your help, dear followers. I need a new project to do once I finish this one. I’d like to make something for myself this time around. I’m a forensic anthropologist, so something related to the human skeleton would be ideal. I’m looking either for a pattern that’s already been created or just a picture that I can make into a pattern. Any ideas?
