i mean yes the messy plot of mrn is still oscar winning compared to slop 5000 of 2020s kdrama rom-com with girlboss9000 ignoring wet-tissue-paper-boy9000 she met as a kid at conveniencestore9000 while secondmalelead9000 gets national campaigns to support his therapy sessions

the writing run from episode 10-12 was deeply ridiculous, it needed 16-20 episodes with 2 more spent in joseon to tackle those plot points better, a better explanation of the body switching and memories, mundo's end not being so simply achieved when he was winning for 13.5 episodes, also the constant back and forth with seori and her feelings/actions started to get exhausting around the 10th episode mark, i think they should've leaned more into them being villains and working together as that was the premise of the drama, granny did not need that much screentime nor did the random business hijinks that didn't really get a proper closure either (the perfume toxic plot? huh?), etc. etc.
