musings of the insane sort

her private life got SO boring by the end of the drama i was half asleep. jaewook and minyoung had lovely chemistry but the plot was already bad and it got worse and worse. and then king the land was a bad hallmark movie on steroids where again, i liked yoona and junho, but it was putting me to bed. i think they got together too early there!

sadly i fall into the category where romcoms are hard for me to watch as i usually get bored of the plot especially when they get together. i gotta have something of substance to stay with it. so neither of those dramas had "bad couples" in any sense, but they were just really boring to me so i don't rec them.

agent kim reactivated is splendid. best kdrama of the year for me now. possibly one of the best kdramas to air in recent years. i can't rec that enough.

apartment job and the husband are great cause ji sung and namgoong min are great. but i'm giving apartment job a slight edge cause it reminds me of vincenzo's cousin.

the greatest fake wedding kiss ever!

the quality is supremely high, it feels like a blockbuster action movie split into 10 episodes. the cast is full of veteran movie and kdrama actors who are giving their all to the role and showing off why they are legends of the industry. the plot wastes zero time and feels like a race against time. the north korean plot is tied in seamlessly as well and nothing feels forced.

i never imagined a drama with 3 middle aged men with kids who were former elite spies would entertain me this much but my god. all-timer kdrama happening here
