AHHH! AMAZING! LOVE TO READ THIS!!!!!

my dearest is one of those kdramas that you need to just sit down, lock in, and watch without any distraction and just savor at one time. can you believe some of us watched it in real-time and had to WAIT for part 2 of it? but yes we did. and it was gut wrenching. the slave market scene is an all-timer acting and kdrama moment to ever exist but my personal favourite scene is always this one:

yeah i enjoyed it very much cause i like watching satisfying things that include awful people getting beat up and ruined, even if they are teenagers. i think the cast was really good especially the lead actor kim muyeol he was just so utterly phenomenal and charming. deadass had like 10 aura farming scenes but it was not cringe and very believable cause he looks like he could beat up 40 people easily.

yah the writing was highly whack in this episode and very much carried by the acting. granny getting lost and all the crying scenes are also overdone for me like i'm sorry am i awful maybe but move on we get it!

also def not a fan of how seori and segye were overall written in this episode particularly. i realize the writer is prob trying to show some big parallel to the past lives where segye like the crown prince bowed to mundo/the king to save seori and seori's identity came full circle but idk it was written strangely and didn't hit for me. i think the bench cherry blossom scene was the only scene i really enjoyed cause that felt like them to me esp segye ofc he got pissed and said a bunch of crazy shit.
