feel however you want to feel abt madoc, but i will never stop LOVING his relationship with jude. their relationship is my second favorite in the whole series.

Him thinking that jude were just a silly girl in love with cardan, when she was just the opposite, (love that he knew that she liked him tho it’s funny)
it’s so in character for him to imagine himself as her savior that forgives her and allows her at his side again. and even after she poisoned him and he questioned if she intended to actually kill him, he still wants her as his daughter. he still worked hard to get her back from the undersea to be at his side again.
But madocs complexity, also the confirmation that madoc was proud of jude and wanted her back on his side, but also wanted to show her who’s boss,😭😭 like i love him
but i HATE how he just keeps on underestimating her. so glad that she beats him time and time again at every turn. jude will forever be my favorite, she’s so funny for kicking his ass at his own game.
and i adore how he’s all like “I’m so much older than better than her, there’s a reason IM the grand general!! I’ll show her!!” And then she absolutely confounds him with the knowledge that SHES running the kingdom.
He became HER grand general. Madoc once said how he detested being the greenbriars dog, but then his daughter became the boss of him … like that’s so pathetic no wonder his crashout was so violent
anyway i love when evil men have daughters that put them in their place it’s always just too good.
