poc, especially those of black and latino heritage are continously targeted in the real world where they get actually harmed and worst case scenario killed for the exposure of said feelings. they can't show complex emotion in and out of screen without it being weaponised and turned against them. I need you all to realise how rooted in racism that mindset is. because if your first reaction to seeing a mexican man rightfully point fingers at a white man while holding his shoulder is that of abuse, while it completely goes over your head that marely a few seasons ago it was bobby (a white man) actually pinning buck to a wall for not minding his business... then I've got some fucking news for you.

I'm tired of this bullshit every other day, and that you people selectively decide to make an enemy of eddie for calling buck out (just like yall did with chim months ago for hitting buck, in his own desperation and anger.) I don't give a fuck if it was one or the other, bt's or hardcore buck stans. the way you treat the characters is a reflection of your political convictions, and continously downplaying and invalidating asians, africans and south americans' experiences, like they're supposed to be robots that maneuver at your commodity when they're real ppl that have the same capacity to experiment shit as you do, says eveything I need to know about the kind of person you are.

buck has so far in the story build up a wall around his relationship with eddie because of his fear that the latter might slip further away from him by 'he's straight'-ing his feelings. and that's the whole point, right? of the recurring visuals of buck and eddie separated by glass doors/walls, concrete walls, a whole state...etc, buck's petty shenanigans and sabotages, the mention of knocking down walls, the 'nobody can talk to you about it' and 'you never asked what it was like'. It's all leading to the same end, of eddie knocking them down.

someone's cousin working on set or whatever let me know if the photo of bobby where tracie in the background is wearing the same outfits seen on the tiktok posted months ago I think for aisha's birthday(?), and peter wearing the same outfit from the 'guess the season' tiktok are deleted scenes from the first pic's episode, or something else (the buckley parents being there too?????)

but still, I think the investigation makes a lot more sense if we look at the other stills where she is working on a case, and I also don't think harry and may would look this worried/weirded out and baffled about it if it was anything other that athena seemingly losing her sanity.

then we have athena at hen and karen's. I think this is interesting because by the looks of it, chimney is dressed up to go somewhere. maybe, and just hear me out; karen - hen & chimney - maddie double date dinner or individual dates, but the point is they're trying to go out somewhere so they can talk and find some normalcy in the chaos. they know athena is in the trenches, trying to keep herself busy to not spiral. so they call her up, and ask her to babysit the kids (denny, mara, and jee.)

I wonder if this calm before the storm that the stills bring are moments before eveything is put upside down again (there's no earthquake stills, so maybe that happens by the end of the episode and continues on 8x18. OR if maybe the earthquake will come while the couples are out and athena is looking after the kids.) and mostly, I wonder if this calm that is settling in athena will soon be disrupted by bobby's new coming (because call me crazy, but I still believe he could be alive.)
