Here are some of my headcanons about my favourite couple (by the way, a few of them can be guessed from the two fics where I mention a past relationship —Rasha' and The Pepperoni Divideth Us)

Morpheus is the only being besides Lucifer themself allowed to touch their wings, but Morpheus hasn't dared since Lucifer fell
God absolutely knows of their love and allows it as long as Dream doesn't stray from his purpose and serve Lucifer's interests. Still, it is most certainly not a coincidence if Desire keeps sending potential love interests their brother's way...
Lucifer likes that Morpheus is smaller than them
Lucifer is the only one who can call Dream 'sweet Morpheus' and other pet names. Morpheus doesn't really like it, but he can't deny that he would miss it if Lucifer ever stopped —so he says nothing
Lucifer and Morpheus never truly confessed their love. In fact, Morpheus still believes Lucifer tolerates him out of amusement
Once, Delirium dared to ask Dream if he and Lucifer had "tried being honest with each other", and Dream unhooked her sigil from his gallery for a decade, during which he told anyone who would listen his sister's madness had become uncontrollable
When Lucifer was still Samael, and before they started rebelling, their interactions with Morpheus were more uptight than those of a Christian couple in the Victorian era —if they touched hands, Lucifer would be giddy for a month and 'dates' consisted of sitting in silence for hours on end
Lust didn't exist until Lucifer and Morpheus first had sex
Lucifer is the only being Morpheus is not usually sexually dominant with. He is used to taking what he wants without asking, to manipulating, but he knows he is weaker than Lucifer and, while it hurts his pride to admit it, he likes not being strong sometimes
Morpheus is kind of a sub/pleasure top. Lucifer is a power bottom
Lucifer is extremely jealous of Dream's lovers and anyone who can make Dream forget himself —Lucien(ne), his raven, etc. They are especially jealous of Calliope because Morpheus had a child with her, and Lucifer would secretly like to experience parenthood
Dream 'inspired' humans to name the brightest celestial body in their nightsky (Venus, which was thought to be a star) lucifere, the Lightbringer, because that is the name Lucifer chose for themself when they fell and he couldn't bear the thought of humanity looking at such a beautiful and bright object and name it anything else but his lover's name
When Lucifer is angry with Morpheus, they'll stop sleeping for even longer than usual to make sure he doesn't slip into their dreams —and Dream always ends up coming to Hell, having make-up sex with them, and convincing them to rest afterwards
Lucifer never treats Morpheus like a king even though he is as much of a monarch in his realm as they are in Hell
Lucifer secretly celebrates every time they manage to make Dream laugh —like, an actual celebration, with wine and all
Morpheus keeps every gift Lucifer has ever given him in a secret room in his Palace and makes dreams out of them
Morpheus subtly changes Lucifer's dreams after difficult years or centuries without ever admitting he's doing it —but of course, Lucifer knows, and it makes them fall harder everytime
Dream has once made Lucifer (then Samael) orgasm solely by touching their wings. This is also part of the tacit agreement that Lucifer's wings should not be touched anymore
Meanwhile, Lucifer has already made Dream orgasm just by saying his name, but Dream has never complained about it

Morpheus doesn't like to eat much, but he'll never say no to food around Lucifer because they worry too much otherwise
Since the Fall, kissing feels too intimate —more intimate than sex—, so Morpheus and Lucifer rarely kiss. When they do, they never last long, which is also why they don't because the sex is too good to be interrupted
Dream has a praise-from-Lucifer kink
Those who have criticised or insulted Dream when they lived are tortured harder in Hell than the others
Morpheus never interrupts Lucifer when they're talking about the Silver City, even if they stop halfway through the sentence —he just waits because he would never try to 'fix' Lucifer's grief over Heaven
Morpheus has already seen Lucifer cry. Lucifer vowed that if he ever spoke a word of this, they would never touch him again
If Lucifer mentions disliking something, Dream erases its existence from the Dreaming
Morpheus keeps a feather from Lucifer's former wings in his chambers. He likes to smell it
Morpheus once deadnamed Lucifer after a particularly pleasant afternoon. Lucifer didn't talk to him for sixty years.
Morpheus has cheated on Calliope with Lucifer, but Lucifer has been cheated on with many more of his women, so they have never felt bad about it
