Art and Anomalies

Still figuring out a title but this is the Project Hail Mary art that I made. And now I must sleep bc I was supposed to be in bed over an hour ago

I tag this as ink style bc that’s the style but the stuff used aside from canvas is acrylic paint then paint markers

Finally managed to organize my thoughts enough to make this :D

Ngl guys I can’t stop thinking about C&A:

From what I gather, Caine and (maybe) Abel were two different AI projects that happened kinda one after another. Caine first, he was found to be more defective but they didn’t want to delete him. So he was moved to a folder or in that box, to be returned to at some point.

Kinger, Scratch and the team start a new one, I’m guessing it was Abel but of course at this point so many things are up in the air I could totally be wrong on the name. Anyway. This one does better! Which is great for them; it’s producing better quality images, maybe it is more obedient even.

Caine probably gained sentience at some point while the team was working on Abel. I won’t call it jealousy bc you have to feel to have that understanding, I want to call it opportunity. Caine saw or sensed Abel’s presence, the amount of progress it was making but also that it was obedient and an easy code to work with. So Caine takes his opportunity to “escape” the confines of where they put him and basically absorb/kill Abel.

Then of course maybe the team is about to test out the equipment they all think it’s safe because Abel is usually obedient. Imagine the horror they must have felt when they couldn’t get the head sets off and heard “MY NAMES CAINE!”

Now that’s a lot right? That’s a lot to think about just in a whole this is BEFORE we see what happens to everyone but Kinger, even without understanding why for each or knowing a whole story.

But for me personally, at the moment I’m under the impression that the other AI was Abel. I don’t want to do a whole “this is my theory” thing bc it’s not about that’s. What’s getting to me is

If I’m right, that leads to ANOTHER set of questions that makes me MORE NERVOUS

If Abel was the other AI, did Caine finally delete the last of Abel in Ep.7? Was he really lurking while Caine built all of this?

Or

Did Caine just…reuse that name and kept it from Kinger as long as possible (while messing with his mind ?) to avoid kinger remembering?
