I love seeing grown humans setting about little creative tasks out of boredom and then looking quietly pleased with themselves, like maybe a middle-aged woman on her train home from work manages to make a tower out of empty coffee creamers and gazes at it proudly for a few seconds.

- when someone is standing in line and they don’t quite dance to the music playing, but you can SEE their head bop and them mouthing the words

- when someone does the thing where they enter another space (such as a supermarket aisle) striding with total purpose, then suddenly forget what they’re doing/looking for, and stop there looking blank for a millisecond while they reboot.

It is a very rare thing for me to disagree so hard with a progressive Black woman, but Therese Patricia Okoumou IS a hero. And she certainly did not let anyone down. Fighting for young children who were being caged and separated from their parents is never ever the wrong thing to do. What she did—resisting Trump and publicly speaking truth to power—required great courage. Okoumou is a hero and an activist. A social justice warrior in the truest sense of the word.

If he just buckled up and paid for only two years, he’d be loan free! But he’s still deferring! Oh I’m sorry Mr. Special Snowflake, no one told you when you were getting your degree in “Sensitivity Studies” that you would have to pay for it. Look, all I’m asking is, and I know this may not be “politically correct” - how long are we as a society going to put up with these millenial debtors before we send Men’s Rights Activists to kill them?
