As for fic recommendations I have plenty! But Iβll narrow it down a bit! I tend to only read on AO3 so theyβll all be on there.
A wide patchwork sky by Cinderstrato is a fun halbarry au with a ton of other dc characters that show up. I spent like multiple days straight just reading and rereading it lol
Life Could Be a Dream (Sha-Boom!) by layspotatochipabs is a really fun fic with the league going on vacations together, and Hal and Barry figuring out their relationship along the way. It is also pretty long but there is so many fun moments in it
I Second That Emotion by CapedCommissioner is really great also. Any fic that plays with the multiple types of lanterns is super good. I distinctly remember reading this one in the middle of the night after graduating high school lol
Purring by ceeloilights is an all time fav. I love the headcanon that speedsters vibrate and purr when happy. Itβs a pretty fluffy fic which I think everyone needs at some point. This author has a ton of really amazing halbarry fics so check them out for sure I love them
Finally my all time favorite Halbarry fic right now is Missing You in the Soul Bond by ChocolateTeapots. I am the biggest sucker for soulmate aus, and this author gets their relationship so right. They also just both of these characters so well itβs amazing. A lot of people tend to struggle to write from Barryβs pov but not them. If you are going to read any of them please read this one!!
