Unpopular opinion… I hated Chenford this episode. The fake happiness/ friendship they have going on is very unhealthy. It seems like Tim is the only one benefiting from their current relationship. It feels like they’re still in an emotional relationship minus the actual relationship. That’s not healthy whatsoever. Lucy is doing a lot of emotional labor and it feels like she’s just waiting for Tim to heal so they can get back together. That’s still a toxic relationship no matter how cutesy the heart eyes are. This is clearly going to end up hurting them mainly Lucy in the long run. Honestly I hate this for her. Think about it more deeply Lucy is just settling for whatever she gets and is supposed to accept it with a smile. She doesn’t make detective so they make her a temporary TO. She doesn’t get a romantic relationship with Tim but settles with an emotional (heavy on her part) relationship with Tim. I hate it here.

Highkey don’t want Lucy to be a TO. I just hate the idea, don’t like it. I want season 7 to be Lucy in a long term UC op for months maybe even a year. I want Lucy to come to the conclusion of UC work is for her or not on her own. I want it to be her decision alone. Personally I want her to do short term UC ops but her main focus should be special victims. Maybe she can get a girlfriend before getting back with Tim. Just throwing out some ideas.

You know what I have more beef with season 6. Why tf are they stigmatizing therapy. Especially men’s and poc mental health. The very first episode Nyla felt guilt after killing that guy and was spiraling but she bounced back like it was nothing in the next episode. Aaron getting mixed messages from his therapist after a traumatic event. Tim going to Blair during a mental emergency and getting great therapy but that all gets taken away from him because his therapist betrays him. Lucy’s valid anxiety being looked over. Angela’s trauma from her own kidnapping. Hell let’s get Grey some therapy, he lost his partner years ago, he lost Jackson and almost lost other officers. It’s a terrible message that the writers are trying to pass. Open up with a professional and they will use it against you? Wtf writers! The only mental health that was accurately portrayed and somewhat done well was Wesley’s story. There’s some other interesting choices that the writers make that I can’t help but notice. That’s a different post for a different day though.

What if they do end writing in Jenna’s pregnancy as an excuse to do a big time jump which also coincides with a long term UC op for Lucy? 🤔 A reach but they do need to catch up the timeline a bit

I don’t care if it doesn’t make sense logically for Lucy to continue Undercover work. I don’t want her to give it up for Tim. Just for principle alone. It’s something that she really wants to do and is amazing at it. I don’t think I could support the writers decision if they choose for her to quit UC for Tim. I can’t justify a woman giving up her dream for a man even if that man is Tim Bradford. I want her to do UC for a few years then give up long term UC and do short stints. Then get married and have those babies. Also Special Victims is the department where Lucy truly belongs. Primm sucks. Okay rant over.

I love writing. I come up with all these scenarios for characters and I get so excited when I’m able to put it on paper. It just sucks I have adult responsibilities and I legit don’t have time to actually write. I also have somewhat high standards when it comes to my writing, I can’t just release anything.😣

I’ll shut up soon but I need to get this out there. I am a big Nolan hater. I could write an essay on how I don’t like him but I won’t.
