I've just started watching The Rookie and I am BEGGING for hurt/angst/whump John Nolan fics. There are practically none that I can find which is a little surprising considering he's the main character 😭 if anyone has any recs at all, John Nolan Centric, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send them my way

Crazy how John Nolan is kind of The Father Figure and I love how paternal he is with a bunch of different characters (INCLUDING his almost-daughter-in-law) But I absolutely despise his actual son.
