I am using NHANES data. The data are available as .XPT files and come in sets. I’m using 2005-2006 (represented by the data file ending in _D), 2007-2008 (represented by the data file ending in _E), and 2009-2010 (represented by the data file ending in _F). From each file, I am interested in the same variable label “Type of milk first fed - other”

(I already downloaded the .XPT data files to my C drive and imported the data into SAS successfully).
There is a SAS label named “Type of milk first fed - other”. In the 2005-2006 data file, the SAS variable name is DBD072U. In the 2007-2008 data file, the SAS variable name is DBD072U again. But in the 2009-2010 data file, the SAS variable name is DBQ073U.
I literally just wanted to rename DBQ073U (in the 2009-2010 DBQ data file) to DBD072U (to match the 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 DBQ DATA file). So I did that, but now I cannot get an error-free result when I try to look at the means for these variables. It keeps telling me there is a syntax error, then it says something about CUROBS. What does that mean and how do I fix it?
