I said it back when Deadpool and Wolverine came out and I’m gonna say it again, instead of trying to find someone else to be Wolverine they should just get Dafne Keen to reprise her role as Laura and make her Wolverine like in the comics.

It’ll not only save us from having to hear comparisons to Hugh Jackman for the next decade but it makes for a more interesting dynamic in the Cyclops-Jean Grey-Wolverine love triangle, if the writers decide to do that story (also it’d be weird to do with a traditional Wolverine since the MCU is seemingly skewering younger with the X-Men based on Jean).

If the Dungeon from Dungeon Crawler Carl happened in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire, how deep would some of your favorite characters get?

So the rooftop “reunion” and the letter conversation scenes are heartbreaking in their own rights, but they’re even more heartbreaking when you figure that Peter has spent 4 years imagining these exact scenarios would play out.

He’s been so stuck in the past and what he’s lost, that when he’s not taking apart New York’s underworld, he’s probably playing out the scenarios of confessing to MJ over and over again. And with 4 years to obsess over it, how many times do you think he imagined a scenario like the rooftop reunion? How many times did he think about MJ saying she didn’t love him? Probably hundreds. And those were the best and worst case scenarios respectively, and he had to experience the best outcome get ripped away from him and then experience the worst possible result in the span of about 12 hours.

Big Wheel

He would’ve been perfect as the guy driving the Tank. Cause Jean doesn’t know how to drive a tank and the woman she was possessing seemingly didn’t know how to drive a tank, so how did they have the ability to drive that tank?

Bringing in Big Wheel would’ve also set up a precedent for Jean using villains to get what she wanted from Damage Control. It would also help with the Hulk “twist” (they really shouldn’t have revealed where Jean was going and let her controlling Hulk be a surprise) with the rule of 3. When she attacks Damage Control first she takes control of Big Wheel, then Scorpion, so for the third attack you’re thinking it’s another villain only for it to be revealed to be Hulk.

There’s just one tiny thing I would’ve added at the end.

Ok, you’ve been warned.

Was thinking about how if Bea had gotten home just a little earlier, she might’ve survived the collapse with Carl and Donut and gone into the Dungeon with them. She’d have probably been useless at first but like with Katia, she would have grown stronger especially being around Carl (the Crawlers around him have a tendency to get exponentially stronger). Carl may have even started to forgive her for her transgressions because he is a good guy (he wouldn’t be thinking about getting back together with her, just forgiving her).

Then they’d get to Phase 2 of Floor 8.

And either Bea or Donut lets it slip that she knew about Asher.

At that point Carl is done with her and even forces Donut to choose between her and him (Donut would choose Carl obviously).

Word spreads among the Crawlers until Bea becomes a pariah.

Floor 9 I think she may even willing join one of The Bloc Factions and actively work against the Princess Posse.

Finally there’s a showdown, Carl and Donut against Beatrice who’s been upgraded thanks to the Bloc. Carl wins. Bea begs for forgiveness but it’s too late now. He uses his Smush Skill to end her (which the AI loves) and Carl earns his first and only Skull next to his name.

Now they’re all pretty similar ideas in my mind with slight variations for the end so here’s the basic concept and then the variations:

Orpheus turns around.

“It’s You.”

“It’s me.”

All the lights cut out.

Two spotlights come up a few seconds later. One where Orpheus is, One where Eurydice was standing a moment before now empty. Orpheus walks to the empty spotlight and breaks down.

End.

Now the variations, the single spotlight versions:

1) Lights go out. Spotlight on Orpheus. Orpheus goes to where Eurydice was standing just a moment ago. Realizes she’s gone. Breaks down.

2) Lights go out. Spotlight on where Eurydice was standing. Orpheus walks into the spotlight and breaks down.

I think they’re all reasonably devastating enough. I can’t decide which is the most devastating though.

Hades: How did you get down here?

Odysseus: My new friend helped me. Apparently he’s a ghost.

Hades: A ghost?

Odysseus: Yeah, he said he was from Sparta.

Hades: A ghost from Sparta? Wait, did he say he was a ghost of Sparta, or THE Ghost of Sparta?

Kratos: Hello Uncle. Remember me?

(Orpheus turns around)

Orpheus: …

Eurydice: …

Orpheus: …it’s you.

Eurydice: …it’s me.

As I watched I not only fell in love with Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone’s love stories but the music and their relationships invoked all my favorite ships across media showing how timeless these love stories truly are (seriously I need to see more ship edits to Hadestown songs besides Wait For Me). Also the commentary on capitalism and politics was perfection and still as applicable today as when it was written.
