I am VERY much into Roblox Clean Crew right now. In the past I’ve only gone to tumblr if that is where a particular fandom I’m in resides, and that may be a continuing theme.

Other things I’m into include (but are not limited to): The Wizard of Oz, FNAF, it’s a small world, Wreck it Ralph, Mouthwashing, SCP, Baldi’s Basics, Garten of BanBan, Gravity Falls, Creepypasta… and a whole lotta other stuff. If I listed everything we’d be here all day

I definitely imagine they were human, once. Blaster and Lobber have the most interesting antique entries to me :3

I definitely imagine Blaster would feel more responsible if he was the one to find and help Lobber, which Blaster is usually fine and he’s responsible but… in the state Lobber is in (enough to “slip out of the van [and run and run] till [they] couldn’t anymore”)… it’s a bit too much for him.

It would result in Blaster resenting them more, and Lobber in turn resenting Blaster. B doesn’t want to feel like an over-glorified baby sitter to someone who got a few too many cracks in the head, and if B was the first one Lobber told all of their crazy conspiracies to (headcanoning that that started after they were found in the alley)… Blaster would want to blast his own head clean off. He would find it so goddamn irritating.

And the immediate backlash, the “shut it. Be quiet. I don’t want to hear about this anymore” from Blaster would frustrate Lobber to no end, because what do you mean he doesn’t believe the red face in the wall? What do you mean he’s fine being controlled by the big man upstairs? What do you mean he doesn’t believe the beast taller than trees???? I envision when Ranger finds Lobber, he’s sympathetic enough to actually let Lobber let loose all of their trouble and it indeed caused a huge chunk of Lobber’s brick and mortar to fall that leads to future interactions with the crew to not give way to vitriol inside of them.

This would make Lobber’s connection with Ranger grow stronger, and maybe in this “”AU”” (I say in heavy quotes since nothing is canon) Lobber gets with Ranger instead. Or maybe they run away for good, eventually bulb cracked and bleeding on the sidewalk without a replacement bulb or outlet in sight, and on a desolate road that the clean crew can never drives down.

Maybe they could work out their differences and settle on forgiveness, but hell everyone on the clean crew team (aside from Ranger) are stubborn as mules.

I’d really like my brain to allow these two a simple happy route but my mind makes every situation complicated. I’d lean in and say that “Lobber would be thankful that Blaster found them” if that was even slightly true, but it isn’t. They have record entries about planning another(?) escape, and any praise towards Ranger goes to him listening to their ramblings and barely any mention of being saved. They legitimately don’t care, even if they can recognize the Crew did it in good faith.

(These will be in bulletin format to keep it nice and tidy :3)

• “but Lobber trusts Ranger!” I like to think of those two as having a queer platonic relationship. Lobber finds comfort and familiarity in Ranger, but I don’t think there’s any feelings between them that is romantic

• Lobber’s main ‘fear’ of Blaster comes from the fact that Blaster is strong, avoidant, and the fact that he looks so similar to the Peering Crane’s. I HC that Lobber often gets them mixed up, and often keeps an eye out and even tries to inspect Blaster from afar to make sure it’s not a Crane in disguise.

• Blaster thinks Lobber is… strange. That’s about it. Just wish they would stop screaming.

• During the job, Blaster and Lobber accidentally usually always pair up since Ranger and Zoomer are quite independent. Blaster is, too, but due to Lobber’s want to keep an eye on him at all times… kind of draws them together like an unwanted magnet. This leaves them alone to talk, even though it’s usually Lobber going off about things that Blaster doesn’t care to entertain.

• very much an enemy to enemy lovers trope. They never actually make up much, if they do then Lobber gets scrambled and it’s like they start from square one.

• While getting separated from the others they learn things about each other, as much as Lobber is super secretive about everything. Sometimes Lobber has a hard time and if they can’t find Ranger they’ll hesitantly find comfort in Blaster. Blaster actually grounds them a lot, and he can take any bullshit Lobber throws (squirming, freaking out, etc).

• Something something Blaster is fed up and pins Lobber to a wall and puts pressure on their chest and tells them to knock it off or he’ll blast ‘em…… and when he pulls back Lobber is very suspiciously quiet afterwards

• Blaster actually gets somewhat interested in the idea of what Lobber experienced outside of HEAD_QUARTERS.. not that he’d do anything, but the stories interest him (what he can understand of them anyways).

• Lobber…. Loves Blasters voice. They have to deal with the loud screeches of the Spruce Crickets, the yelling of the Crane’s, the grating music from the Mirthful disks… something that helps separate Blaster from the Cranes is his voice. Even if they are disoriented, can’t see due to the Eye Stalks… they will follow his voice.

• While they all generate heat, Lobber runs very hot with the lava lamp head. They don’t get cold necessarily but Blaster does like basking in the warmth even subtly. He is the second tallest, so he’s closest to the heat source!

• One time while running from HUG, Blaster grabbed Lobber’s hand as they ran into a safety room. Lobber refused to unclasp their fingers for a solid 30 seconds after HUG left, much to Blasters annoyance. (Afterwards Lobber was fidgety trying to find a way to hold his hand again, but got too in their head and stopped thinking about it)

• The crew’s lights turn off when they sleep, kinda looks like they died but as long as they aren’t bleeding or cracked it’s fine. When Zoomer and Ranger were asleep, Lobber and Blaster stayed up. Did Blaster use his one hand to sloppily trace the glass of Lobber’s lava lamp head? Yes. Did Lobber’s unclothed fingers dip under Blaster’s lampshade? Yes. Both don’t talk about this incident. Lobber usually sleeps next to Ranger anyways.

• Lobber knows an uncomfortable amount about the Crew’s internals. Cue Lobber’s unclothed hand sliding up Blaster’s hoodie and clutching his alkaline heart and feeling the mechanics of it thrum under their fingers…

• ^ In reference to above, ‘body exploration’ is very one sided. Blaster hesitantly lets Lobber, but Lobber doesn’t let Blaster even try. (“I have a detonation switch tied to my head and organs!”)

• One time Blaster heard a repeated ‘thud’ noise when cleaning and went to investigate in a dirty room. Found Lobber sitting in a corner knocking their head against the wall, rambling on about “my investigations were proven right” “everything is false and nothing is real” etc etc… Blaster noticed the crack in their lamp, leaking red wax, and stopped them from doing more harm to themself. He distracted them by letting them vent as they both cleaned the room, but he didn’t care much for what they were talking about… anything to get them out of that spiral.

• One time their plug tails got tangled and they fought about it. The more they moved the tighter the knot got. Let’s just say Ranger and Zoomer had to pick up the slack while Lobber and Blaster ‘took care of it’…. 🤭❤️

• Despite everything, Blaster starts to feel very outcasted with the rest of the Crew. It doesn’t make him feel great. Lobber actually would take time to listen to Blaster if he ever decided to share.

• Lobber does feel a little guilty about how they treat Blaster unfairly at times (“HE GETS HURT. IM SORRY BUT WHO COULD KNOW") but their self preservation is too high.

• Blaster has considered helping Lobber take their ankle monitor off. Not that he actually would or has, but the thought has crossed his mind.

• Blaster sometimes wants to dress Lobber up but he never properly brings it up (only sometimes makes snide offhanded comments towards how Lobber dresses). Fashion is one of his passions, how can he resist?

• Lobber is absolutely fascinated that Blaster can draw, and sometimes watches him creepily over his shoulder (which actually makes Blaster want to draw… less…). They don’t care what he draws, it just itches their brain wax
