By the tone and determination of this lady, she seemed very concerned of his own wellbeing, despite not knowing him at all. The King never saw her before, so she must have been a newcomer! After staring into her green eyes with his own, he then blinked and looked away with a small scoff. “I have a glass of iced tea and sake waiting for me back home, so water ain’t on the drinking menu.”
He gave some effort to stand up, grunting in the process, and once he tried to stand his knees started wobbling like a newborn giraffe. He shook his gloves off, each landing with a small umph on the ground, before he planted his back against the tree trunk, due to fatigue taking over his system.
Now she seemed rather polite, even apologising for no introduction… especially towards the King himself! Still no bow…? Hmm… what’s not recognisable? Oh damn, the crown!! He reached down and lazily but quickly grabbed it with two fingers, placing it upon his navy hair.
He forced a small smile of slight smugness across his expression and lifted both weary arms to cross over his chest. “W-well,… Aerith(?), the name’s Dedede,… KING Dedede ‘f course, nothin’ else! I rule this here land with an iron fist, that there y’seen smash tha stuffin’ outta sandbag behind. I jus’ finished my workout, but think may gone overtime… jus’ need to get back to my castle… waaaay over there.” He then pointed towards a pale-yellow caste with red-tops all the way on a nice large hill… could be around a ten-to-fifteen minute walk…
❀ A King?! Was he quite sure? Still, face flushing only slightly more, she quickly curtsied, recalling only some from times she had seen others from other worlds in the past. Though this would quickly obscure, turning slightly and of most her head to peer back, before turning back.
“Well, that is quite a walk....what is sake?” She hadn’t really heard of it. Though there were likely so many worlds, who knew how many kinds of food, drink, and other amenities were about? And only now was the start of a comprehension, even while once, many knew how to traverse better and remained in a better peace.
“I would be more than happy to assure that you get home quite safely! It would be quite a shame for something to happen before you could. It would be quite an honor!” She had helped quite often before, and could certainly do so once more, as she seemed to be a real help, especially for visitors. Though, it seemed the tables were now turned.
