WOLFDOG: A social presentation term, with a wide range of potential usage. Essentially, this can be used by anyone who feels as if they are trapped between conflicting identities and/or expectations. Wolfdogs are a hybrid of domestic dogs and wild wolves. They’re often treated as designer breeds or exotic pets, but cannot be properly cared for like one would a regular dog. Essentially, they’re too wild to live domestically, but too domestic to be released. Due to this, they are almost always rehomed or sent to sanctuaries.
