"Because we know, Rumi." Mira says, softly.

Rumi stiffens. "Know what?"

"We saw earlier this week. And it's fine, but we can't turn it gold now! What'll happen to you?" Zoey asks.

"I'll be fixed. That half won't exist anymore." Rumi promises.

"You can't get rid of half of yourself." Mira says quietly.

Rumi stands up, ignoring how Zoey falls off her lap.
