My name is Jaber Al-Haj, a graduate with honors in Applied Chemistry. I currently reside in Kuwait, but my heart and thoughts are constantly with my family, who remain in Gaza amidst the ongoing war and devastation. My wife, Muna, and our 2-year-old son, Hashem, live under the constant threat of violence and uncertainty. Every day, I worry about their safety and well-being, and my greatest wish is to bring them to Kuwait, where they can find peace, security, and a fresh start.

After graduating, I started a small cleaning products business in Gaza with my brother, Aboud. We built a modest lab from scratch, and over time, it became a stable source of income for our family. We dreamed of expanding and creating more opportunities, but our hopes were shattered when relentless airstrikes destroyed everything we had built, reducing our lab and future to rubble.

The war didn’t just take away our business; it also separated me from my family. It has been over a year since I’ve seen my wife and child in person. Unable to travel back to Gaza, I feel helpless being so far away from them during these difficult times. Despite all my efforts, it has been equally challenging to bring them to Kuwait, where I could offer them the safety and stability they so desperately need.

The Goal of This Campaign:

I am aiming to raise $29,000 to help bring my wife, Muna, and our son, Hashem, from Gaza to Kuwait, reuniting us and ensuring their safety far from the dangers of war. The funds will also help me rebuild our business in Gaza with my brother, Aboud, by securing a new location, purchasing equipment, and restarting production—giving us a chance to restore our livelihoods and hope for the future

I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.

We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.

Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.

If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,

But the war has turned our lives into a nightmare; we lost our home, our sources of income, and even our ability to provide the simplest of needs.

For the past 13 months, we have been struggling to get healthy food and medicine for my child, whose weak body was attacked by infection, and for my elderly mother-in-law, who fell into a coma for several days and almost lost her life due to anemia caused by our inability to provide healthy food, as prices have risen more than 10 times. Now, we have run out of everything. While you are reading my message, my family and I are trying to survive amidst all kinds of suffering.

What was once a beautiful dream and reality has now become a nightmare. Starvation is one thing, but starving, freezing, and being forced to flee in the middle of the night when tanks suddenly arrive in your area, running for your life and your family’s life under fire, leaving behind everything you built over the years, and returning after 5 months of suffering in displacement and tents to find that your home, where you lived your happiest moments, is nothing but rubble, is something completely different! 💔😓

Can you feel my broken heart now? Can you imagine what I’m going through at this moment? Everything I am living now cannot be described with words, and every moment here is filled with pain and fear. We desperately need your help, as we live in hope of escaping Gaza to save our lives and live safely away from the explosions.

I am Amal from Gaza. A mother of 4 girls ( Judy 8y in 2nd grade at school, Mariam 7y grade 1 in school, Rasha 5y in KG1 And Misk 3y).

I have been displaced from our home with my daughters without my husband. It's now 11 months since my daughters and I didn't see him. 😢

Every day my daughters ask me about their father with tears, they miss him so much.😭💔

We are now live in a tent . We lost our home which we had recently rebuilt before the war, it cost us more than 20k$ to rebuild. It has been completely destroyed. We are now homeless and my husband also lost his job due to the war.

With this bad situation, not enough food, and no clean water my daughters got sick every single week.

Also, my eldest daughter suffers from permanent amoebiasis in the intestines, there is no treatment available.

Life in here is incredibly getting harder and harder either on the level of safety and peace or on the level of livelihood sources. Every single thing has become a burden and a load over our shoulders. You may wonder how possible a person in Gaza can't afford their needs and necessities. The answer is " the vast majority of the people in Gaza lost every single possession and 🇵🇸 belonging on the first days of the war and became displaced and homeless in the streets of the alleged safe neighborhoods in the Middle  or the south of Gaza, adding the fact that all breadwinners have become jobless and with no source of living income amidst the rising prices of any item necessary for staying safe and alive. It is unbelievably😭 harsh and tough.

I am asking you , my friends , to keep supporting my family who is full of hope and wishes that things could be better with you.❤

I will tell you my sad story, after we were living a beautiful life full of fun and reassurance, as we had my own project, and my older brother owned a farm, and my younger brother owned a clothing store, and I have a brother who studies medicine abroad and we have our big house full of warmth and safety, and now we live a worse life than a person imagines, after we left our house and we were forced displacement from north to south, we lost everything we have, our house was demolished and my project and our farm was burned because of the occupation, from this moment we lost our dreams and our future that we have built over the years and now after all the bombing, destruction, displacement and demolition, we live in a tent full of annoying life, both from the cold And insects and fear, we do not have a source of income to provide the minimum and we cannot complete the study for my brother abroad and we do not transfer money to him to provide the basics of his life and my father and mother have chronic diseases. We cannot provide them with medicine nor the healthy food they need to recovery, we all have higher grades but there is no job that we can participate in due to the lack of jobs and the inability to go out at any time, please, I ask you not to stay away from our urgent appeal. I grew up in northern Gaza, where we lived a life of comfort and love 💖🏠, all thanks to my mother, Maysaa ❤️, who has a heart condition 💔, and my father, who worked hard to provide a bright future for us 🌟👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. My siblings—Shabaan, Hanan, Ahmed, and my youngest sister Ameera, our little darling 👧💖—were my closest friends, and we shared dreams 🌈, laughter 😂, and plans for a life full of hope 🌅✨.

I was a student 📚 at the Rosary Sisters School, part of the Union of Churches. My school meant so much to me; it was more than a building 🏫. It was my second home 🏡, a place where I felt safe and happy 😊💛, surrounded by friends and childhood laughter 👦👧💫.

But in a single moment, our lives were turned upside down 💔😢. The war destroyed our home 🏠💥 and my beloved school 🏫💔, and we were forced to flee south under heavy bombing 💣💥💨. We took refuge in the Nuseirat area, hoping to find safety 🤲. Yet even there, we were not spared; fighter jets bombed ✈️💥 the very place where we had sought shelter. I witnessed family members being taken from us in that attack 🕊️😭.

I share my story today as a child who has lost almost everything: my home 🏠💔, my school 🏫🌪️, family members 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🕊️, and even my dreams 🌠. I am reaching out not only to share the pain 💔 but to search for a glimmer of hope 🌄 to help rebuild our lives.

Our house was bombed, My husband and my young son were injured in their bodies and miraculously died. His condition was serious in his legs, which led to him staying in the hospital for a whole year, and he underwent several operations, which made him lose the ability to walk. Despite this, my father still needs to travel abroad and undergo major operations and physical therapy, and my brother suffered fractures in his hand and facial disfigurements.

Please do not ignore what I wrote previously, because it may be the last thing I write. Our only option is for you to support us and stand by us.
