ADELAINE: High level of education, just below Esmerae's. She's from a noble family so she had access to the best tutors. She reads and writes very well and can speak two other languages. In part she enjoyed having exclusive access to formal schooling and having all the attention, but she also dreaded some of the lessons and would either half pay attention, or get lost in her own thoughts, lol.

CALLISTA: Average level of education. Despite being Adelaine's twin sister and coming from the same noble family, she wasn't treated the same. So instead their parents had Calli attend school in their town's local cathedral, where they taught children and teens of low-income/peasant families. Most of Calli's lessons were about faith and tending to the temple, alongside basic level literacy. She reads and writes well but not as well as Adelaine. Orela, Calli's personal servant, also taught her a few things on the side, mostly domestic skills. When Calli's uncle and aunt secretly trained her, they taught her their language and culture from her mother's side, eventually becoming bilingual. When she left home to live on the road with them, she taught herself a bit more on other subjects and slowly expanded her vocabulary.

KATARIAH: Average level of education, just below Callista's. She reads and writes well enough to survive and be an efficient thief. She's more street smart. Anything else she knows is from mirroring other people. She was educated at home by her parents during her youth, who also taught her in the art of stealing (her father, a former thief) and assassination (her mother, a former Black Knife Assassin). When Kat joins the underground rogue guild her father used to be in, she learned other things. Just like Calli, Kat would teach herself on other subjects and expand her vocabulary after the guild's downfall, eventually learning another language while travelling with other former guild members as a bard group (a front for their criminal activities).
