Happy Mother’s Day, Space Mom. As someone who was taken away from my own mother at a young age and didn’t even know if she was even alive for almost a decade, Carrie has been an inspiration person to me. She taught me to be strong and to not care what people think. She taught me that it’s okay to speak your mind and have your convictions even if the crowd doesn’t agree. She taught me struggles with mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. She taught me there’s nothing wrong with taking medicine for mental health treatment. Thank you, Carrie, for being such a positive female role model in my life and to so many other people as well. We were so lucky to have you and I miss you ever day! ❤️ Here’s some glitter for you because I know it’s what you would want.

Leia’s Fate in Episode VIII foreshadowed

In the latest Poe Dameron comic (issue #14), General Leia attends the funeral of a fellow resistance member. Poe delivers the eulogy and his speech includes a callback to Yoda’s famous dialogue from Empire Strikes Back- “Luminous beings We Are. Not this crude matter.”

Shortly after the funeral, Leia tells Poe that probably sooner than they would like, she will be luminous.
