It makes Carla think of cool sunscreen being massaged into warm skin, and how much she wants to experience the feeling of Lisa doing that for her. How much she wants to do that for Lisa.

(She would let her hands wander into risqué territory, and cheekily cop a feel. Depending on how public a place they were in, Lisa might scold her — though she suspects it would lack any conviction.

(Carla would stifle any half-hearted protestation with a kiss.))

It makes her think of condensation on a cold fizzy pop can dripping onto bare skin while lounging in the sun.

She dares to dream of her first summer with Lisa.

Of going on holiday.

She's falling for her, she knows she is.
