βEverything alright, Mr. Gaudet-De Luca?β Henri asked again even though he didnβt need to. He figured it out immediately upon finding the head of magical security in this state. The closer he drew, the clearer it was that the scent of heat was coming from the witch himself.
How fascinating, he thought.
He didnβt dwell too much on it in that moment. Heβd left his suite dressed casually, his shirt left entirely unbuttoned to save time as he sought his next partner to ease his heat. Looks like he found one in Cairo. Unexpected, yet not unwanted.
His eyes fluttered closed with a sigh as he enjoyed the touch of skin on skin, that soft mouth on his neck. His hands fell on the younger manβs waist to keep him there a moment longer. βWe should move somewhere private,β he finally said, sure that the son of two prominent councilmen would not want to be caught by many like this. βYou can tell me how this happened after, if you like.β He took the initiative of pulling away, leading Cairo by the hand leading him towards one of the playrooms nearby. He doubted Cairo would make it to either of their suites.
Cairo still had his magic and he didn't let Henri pull him far before he yanked the other man against him falling backwards having them both fall back into his bedroom. His back hit the bed, choosing that space since he didn't have enough sense to be sure he'd end them in the right place in Henri's suite with his brain near cooking.
He didn't want to talk about the how he'd not figured out himself, which said a lot about where he was mentally. Wasn't like Shade was some mastermind. He was sure I was the heat getting in the way of his executive function. He pulled Henri's lips against his own. One problem at a time and the most prevalent one was the throbbing thing between his legs that wasn't going to let him do anything until it was satisfied.
