Lumine: Why are you doing this!?
Childe: I told you before, I have my reasons to work for the fatui, and I won't allow anything or anyone to get in my way. *summons spear*

Childe: Then you better get ready! *charges at her* HAAHH!!!!
Childe: *thrusts his spear, but stops a milimeter away from her chest* . . .aren't you going to fight back? You know I'm going to kill you, right?
Childe: Then why don't you fight back?
Lumine: i. . .*sniff* i can't.
Childe: Are you. . .crying? Why?
Lumine: *with watery eyes* It's always like this. . .me and my brother got through a lot in our travels, but we always had each other to rely on. The day I lost him was the worst day of my life, it was like someone ripped half of my soul away, and I thought that I would never get over that pain, that was, until I met you. . .
Lumine: I didn't trust you at first because I knew you were with the fatui, but after all the time we spent together, the days you helped me with my quest, I thought I could trust you and let my guard down around you. . .you were fun, smart and seemed to be so kind, being around you filled that hole in my chest, it made the pain of losing my brother much more bearable, and that's why i can't fight you.
Childe: Because you care about me?
Lumine: *crying* Because I love you.
Lumine: And I could never raise a sword to harm someone I love. . .it might've been for a short time, and you might not even care but still, *gives him a warm smile, with tears still rolling down her cheeks* Thank you for making me feel whole again.
Childe: I COULDN'T DO IT!!!
Signora: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU COULDN'T DO IT!?!?
Childe: I JUST COULDN'T DO IT!!! I WAS SURE SHE WAS GOING TO FIGHT ME BUT THEN SHE GOT ALL EMOTIONAL AND SAID SHE LOVED ME!!!
Childe: 'SO WHAT'!?!? I PANICKED RIGHT THEN AND THERE!!!! THE WAY SHE WAS LOOKING AT ME MADE MY HEART MELT LIKE AN ICE CREAM IN THE SCOLDING SUN!!! I COULDN'T DO A DAMN THING TO HER AFTER THAT!!!!
Signora: *sighs, massaging her temples* so you're saying that you could've got rid of that nuisance once and for all, but you failed because of some sweet words and a cute face.
Childe: I doubt anyone would be able to harm a cute face like hers.

Childe/Signora: *look at the doorway, where a sleepy lumine is, standing with a sleepy face, disheveled hair and wearing only childe's big spare shirt* . . .
Lumine: *adorably rubbing her eyes with the long cuffs of his shirt* come back to bed, it's too early.

Lumine: *nods and goes back to the bed*
