Hitting Walls

So like... I typed in a website wrong because my typing skills suck especially when I’m tired. And what came up? My ex’s tumblr. And I just remembered these conversations we would have about if we lived together and the size of the apartment and shit. And now. NOW. I am living in a 2b/1ba with my two cats that has a HUGE living room you could use as a dance studio space (trying to keep myself from buying a pole to add to the aerial equipment and it is a losing battle) plus equal sized bedrooms with good sized closets and. It’s what we talked about wanting. Except here I am, affording it on my own, doing my thing, living my life (providing for my cats), etc. and she’s apparently struggling to find a job and move out of her parents’ home.

Like, I feel like I should feel vindicated except I don’t. I actually feel pity. Yeah, we had a terrible breakup and she lost a bunch of friends at the exact same time due to her behavior and actions but it’s been YEARS and honestly? I hope she finds a job and can move out. It’s probably not going to be the “live alone” sitch she’s apparently dreaming of, but it would be nice to know she’s at least thriving because it looks like she is trying to fix all the things that she was doing way back then.

Anyway, hope she gets a job soon. Hope she can afford to move out soon.
