Now I won’t go into detail on the alleged sexual abuse of Byron, considering it was debated under the post. But even so; we have to consider more than a handful perspectives when covering Byron, especially those who study his texts and life.

And yes, that includes the ones you disagree with. I’m tired of people thinking Byron becoming a bad person was clear and cut, when it wasn’t. Most of it was down to his family and bad influences in life which led to later decisions. In no way does it justify it, but ignoring how his family made him arguably lose empathy for people like women should really be discussed.
