absolutely!!!!i simply looked up "norah" on my private account cuz i know ive already posted some on there

extras that mostly just live in my brain:

I can never decide what animal norah is so in my mind i always switch between red panda/deer/mouse/bunny and a bunch of others too its bad and never consistent

her dad is (undiagnosed but obviously) autistic and that's where she gets it from

she always sits at the front of every class bc of her terrible eyesight but also bc shes a huge teachers pet. william and isaac prefer to sit at the back but they do throw paper airplanes with invisible ink/coded messages for her

i was going thru my upp doc to find out what other hcs i have written down and the way i wrote this is kinda killing me so im leaving it unedited...the concept of william playing the xylophone. isaac and william play those intruments cuz it was required by the school, when (/if) they start the band they play different ones

after williams death i think she and mrs wisp get very close. norah still comes over for sleepovers sometimes when her parents are working and they stay pen pals even after norah leaves for uni #Okay

i have also definitely said this before somewhere but shes tumblr mutuals with ashe and has been since they were both like 12 and they roleplay warrior cats together and talk about dan and phil

and it sucks if norah leaves for college and only goes back to visit her parents and friends. It sucks if norah leaves for college and only goes back to visit her parents because she’s lost touch with her friends. It sucks if she leaves for college and her anxiety gets so bad she has to drop out and move back to deadwood but now she’s known life outside of there and it’s changed her forever. It sucks if norah doesn’t go to college and forever lives with that disappointment from every adult in her life including herself. It sucks if norah goes to college and becomes a doctor and comes back out of a sense of debt, somehow, and finds herself in the same cycle as everyone else.

and it sucks if lui skips applying to college because he has to help the town. It sucks if he stays in deadwood because he got hurt on an investigation and has to stay with his parents. It sucks if he stays because despite his smarts he couldn’t get the financial aid he needed to get into college. It sucks if he stays because he doesn’t want to leave and no one understands that. It sucks if he stays and loses himself in his studies until his only friends are the next group of teens to take up the cause, or until he’s friendless from fighting alone. And it sucks if he leaves for any reason because then deadwood is down its greatest resource.
